 וַיַּרְא בָּלָק, בֶּן צִפּוֹר, אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה יִשְׂרָאֵל, לָאֱמֹרִי.
And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.

 

וַחֲזָא בָּלָק, בַּר צִיפּוֹר, יַת כָּל דְּעֲבַד יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֶאֱמוֹרָאֵי

And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Emorites.

  וַיָּגָר מוֹאָב מִפְּנֵי הָעָם, מְאֹד--כִּי רַב הוּא וַיָּקָץ מוֹאָב, מִפְּנֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.

 

וּדְחִיל מוֹאֲבָאָה מִן קֳודָם עַמָא לַחֲדָא אֲרֵי סַגִּי הוּא וַעֲקַת לְמוֹאֲבָאָה מִן קֳודָם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.

And Moab was afraid from before the people greatly, for he (Israel) was many, and there was distress to Moab from before the children of Israel.

  וַיֹּאמֶר מוֹאָב אֶל זִקְנֵי מִדְיָן, עַתָּה יְלַחֲכוּ הַקָּהָל אֶת כָּל סְבִיבֹתֵינוּ, כִּלְחֹךְ הַשּׁוֹר, אֵת יֶרֶק הַשָּׁדֶה וּבָלָק בֶּן צִפּוֹר מֶלֶךְ לְמוֹאָב, בָּעֵת הַהִוא.
And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.

 

וַאֲמַר מוֹאָב לְסָבֵי מִדְיָן, כְּעָן יְשֵׁיצוּן קְהָלָא יַת כָּל סַחֲרָנָנָא, כְּמָא דִּמְלַחֵיךְ תּוֹרָא, יַת יְרוֹקָא דְּחַקְלָא וּבָלָק בַּר צִיפּוֹר מַלְכָא לְמוֹאַב בְּעִידְנָא הַהִיא

And Moab said to the elders of Midian, Now shall this congregation destroy all that are round about us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was the king to Moab in that time.
