| The Flags of Texas webpages consist of my effort to compile in a simple manner the best known flags of Texas history from the time of the first filibuster invasions through the Texas War for Independence and up to the Republic of Texas. Most casual vexillologists are familiar with the famous "6 Flags of Texas" but many may not be aware of when the first "Lone Star" flag was flown or what flags were used by the various Texas army units who fought in the revolution.
