When I meet people for the first time, sometimes they ask, "What were you like as a child?" or "What do you want to do when you grow up?" When I think about these questions now I realize that my past is what makes me who I am today and develops my hopes for the future. Certain themes either through sports, school or friends and family have only strengthened since my past. I am now more aggressive when I play sports, I am not afraid to ask questions about anything and I always try to be playful and make other people laugh. These themes have played a significant role in who I am today and who I will be in the future.
One man who has become a very influential man in my life was my soccer coach. Soccer has been a major part of my life and he made it so. Every time I scored a goal or stole the ball I thought, "Well if I can do this I can do anything." I don?t let anyone bully me around because of my increased aggressiveness from soccer. Soccer has been in my life from the beginning and I hope as long as I am alive It will be a part of me.
Another very influential factor is my dad. He is where I got my sense of humor from which always makes my friends laugh. He motivates me to do things I might have never normally done. He always teaches something new to me every day and I am always able to relate his life lessons to my life. My father is the most influential factor in my playfulness and curiosity.
Upon reflection I realize me life is not my life. It is simply more like a mixture of many others. I simply put the mixture together into a whole which makes up who I am.
