Reflection

            I dove into this topic knowing very well how controversial the subject is.  With this knowledge I knew just how important it was for my research paper to express only the facts and for my Op-Ed piece to express my own personal opinion while keeping an open mind.  I constructed my play based on the premise that such a controversial subject might best be viewed with a lighthearted undertone.  It was with these things in mind with which I was able to build a solid portfolio expressing the facts and my own opinions and concerns regarding affirmative action.

            I still feel the same way I felt in the beginning about affirmative action.  Now that I have done the research, I can back up my claims with the knowledge I have gained.
