brief
a shoe for trail and mountain racing

light and flexible through the midsole to give feel of the surface and quickness but with the grip and traction to deal with mud and rock

base it on a narrow racing  spike last throw in some ankle stability for when things get knarly on the tracks and with the grippy outsole it'll be a winner

the idea
a racing flat with attitude

p-002 'seratone'  is to be light weight and flexible, key criteria for any race shoe and present and accounted for here

a lightweight breathing upper to quickly drain any moisture coming in a range of prints and colours.  ie ltd edition pikes peak version etc
p-002 key:
semi ridged ankle collar gives catches the foot before it can turn over on uneven ground
eyelets in the semi ridged collar allow you to draw it tight and snug.  padding liner inside keeps it comfy
midsole contoured up the lateral and internal side of the foot to cradle it about the arch
light weight mesh to give a lot of breatheability
printed upper, a material with a small amount of stretch and breatheability and drainage
spikey grip, a harder rubber compound for durability and to pierce muddy surfaces
spikey mud grip and chunky soft rubber (orange tread) give mud grip and wet rock traction.  this shoe is a versatile tool for any race situation
extra osmosis drainage holes for quick water dispertion

lace holes pull each of the elements tight and snug - NO FOOT MOVMENT inside the shoe
soft padded tongue, comfort for the long haul when you need to pull the laces tight
technical bits
(see side images)
a midsole with decent cushioning in the rear foot and specific traction demands of racing where you are using the toes and back of the heel a lot more for faster climbing and descending

an ankle collar gives you stability over rough ground and the contoured midsole cradles the foot but is thin to keep it close to the ground lowering the centre of gravity
