brief
p-001 'landslide' was a response to the high weight and inflexible hard core mountain shoes in the market place today

the idea
keep it simple, good flexibility, something to hold the front foot in place.

light weight  and a water / mud solution to make runners ache for the trail

technical bits

full eva midsole gives cushioning.  it is light weight and an impact absorbing device can be incorporated in the rear foot.  the rear sits slightly higher than is the norm to allow for the heavier runner and downhill work giving best impact absorption

contoured eva rises up and around the sides to hold the fore-foot in place

a higher soft ankle collar helps avoid ankle rolling and laces tighten it up snug

full zip over cover keeps the mud off and the water out it stretches over the midsole reducing the chance of mid sole and upper separation and allowing a tighter upper fit

p-001 key:
drainage holes - tiny holes let water out as the pressure of the foot impact creates higher pressure inside the shoe

holes are small so water doesn't get in
contoured eva rises up and around the side to hold the fore-foot in place
rear sits higher to allow extra cushioning
soft stud outsole - non clogging and mud grip, ok slippery traction too
'last chance grip' - to cut into the surface on steep decents
laces pull high ankle collar tight for a snug fit with a thick soft tongue for comfort
zip fastens and tucks away down the side, not on top cover zips diagonal across shoe
outsole rolls up toe for traction and kick protection
