Don't use lightning spell, because it heals him. Use Phantom if it's equiped. Have Celes use magic, and Sabin use Suplex. He'll run once his HPs are low.

Tentacles
Don't use: ice on the bottom left tentacle, fire spells on the bottom right, or bolt spells on the top left one. Have Celes and Edgar concentrate their most powerful attacks on the bottom right one, and then use fire spells to kill the rest.
Use fire spells and Ifrit if equiped. Or have Celes runic and the rest use their most powerful attacks. Vanish+Doom works.

Use the same tactics to defeat this one, however you can kill it with a revify.

You can easily beat it using the same methods as before. When it dies, Terra will join you and it's stats will reset.

You can easily defeat Doom Gaze with using Vanish+X-Zone, however you won't recieve the Bahamut magicite. Use Vanish+Life to kill it, or use your most powerful attacks and spells
