| WEEK 7 |
| Penn State (15), (17) at Michigan (13), (10) (Phil's Pick): Final Score, Michigan 27-24 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Michigan, 21-6 14.0 points CFN: Penn State, 24-20 9.2 points Harmon: Joe: Michigan, 28-27 19.0 points I can't believe we're this far through the list and still doing games of this magnitude. I can't tell who's gonna win this, but I take Michigan to win the Big 10, and for that to happen, Michigan needs to pull this one out. Sorry, Joe Pa. No distancing yourself from Bobby this week. By the way, did anyone see Joe Pa chase down the officials at the end of the game last week? I was amazed! He must have sprinted about 40 yards to catch up to these guys. He's 99 years old!! He's cool. G: Penn State, 21-20 12.8 points OOOOOOOH!!! NOICE!!!!! I like this. PSU, dont let me down this week, Im going to pick you again this week to win. AT UM. Dont fuck this up please. Mills? You ass, run the ball please! And pitch it when you need to and give it to the right peopleand dont fumble. No come from behinds this week, just damn win it outright please. Thank youyes I am begging you! I NEED THIS WIN! Phil: Michigan, 26-24 19.6 points The Nittany Lions recovered nicely after their home Iowa loss with a road Wisconsin win. But it's not gonna happen in the Big House. It'll be close, but JoePa and Bowden will stay at the same distance when this fantastic Saturday ends. California (29), (U) at USC (20), (24) (Joe's Pick): Final Score: USC, 30-28 GUEST SAGE JACOB: USC, 25-19 17.4 points CFN: USC, 38-24 16.0 points Harmon: Joe: USC, 35-21 16.2 points USC had better win this by a bunch, or I'll punch 'em. I bet G picked Cal. Heh. Loser. USC just has to be the better team here. They have to. You can quote me, but I'm not sure where it would ever be useful. Like my set of juggling balls that have soccer ball, baseball, and some other pattern on them. G: Cal, 24-17 15.6 points Cal will do a great job and be unbelievable yet again!! I dunno how theyll do it against uscbut the best qb conference will not let us down this week either. Carson Palmer will have a good week. Phil: USC, 31-21 17.0 points I already told you the deal, Pac 10, and I mean it! Don't make me get the hose down! N.C. State (14), (11) at North Carolina: Final Score: N.C. State, 34-17 GUEST SAGE JACOB: N.C. State, 42-1416.2 points CFN: N.C. State, 34-27 16.0 points Harmon: Joe: N.C. State, 38-17 18.5 points Dorsey-McGahee....both top 5 Heisman candidates. Rivers-McLendon.....maybe Rivers is considered a top 10 right now. I don't know. If I had to pick, Rivers would be either my #1 or #2, after Seneca Wallace. Mclendon would be top 5 also. I don't give a damn about class supremacy. He is great. Maybe I'll finish that list off with Clarett and either McGahee or Smith. N.C. State is great. UNC isn't. The Wolfpack. Makin' some noise. Remember when we were in the position that the N.C. State fans are in now? The good times. G: N.C. State, 35-24 (score generically generated since G somehow left it out) 18.0 points UNC isnt bad this year.theyre terrible, and NCSU isnt good.theyre phenomenal. But against who? UNC has a good CB in Michael Waddell, and a good secondary to back him up. Philip will finally have to play a good, well-thought-out gameplan in order to get some + yardage. Phil: N.C. State, 31-19 18.4 points This is G's pick, as you can tell. So many great games this week and we get this? It's a rivalry game, but UNC's not even good. NC State is, however. They'll probably win the ACC. I'll just sit here and watch the Rivers flow. Arkansas (36), (U) at Auburn (24), (21) (G's Pick): Final Score: Arkansas, 38-17 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Auburn, 17-10 3.8 points CFN: Auburn, 27-20 5.8 points Harmon: Joe: Auburn, 31-21 5.4 points Is Arkansas really as good as their play claims? I don't know. I don't think so. Auburn is in the second tier of the SEC, after Jowjah and LSU-Florida (and maybe more depending on who wins this week). So is Arkansas, but I think that Arkansas is not as high on the ladder as Auburn for one reason. Their running back doesn't have a cool name. G: Arkansas, 21-10 14.6 points What a great game. Arkansas.you guys will do whatchu know you need to do. Phil: Auburn, 28-21 6.0 points Cadillac! Cadillac Williams! Picture him rollin' against that Hog D. Can you see it? I can, for sure. Arkansas could hang around, but I expect Auburn to pull away in the 4th quarter. continued..... |
