| Oklahoma (2), (3) at Texas (3), (2): Final Score: Oklahoma, 35-24 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Oklahoma, 21-14 16.4 points CFN: Oklahoma, 14-13 13.8 points Harmon: Joe: Texas, 31-24 9.2 points Sweet mother of pearl, this game is great. Find me a bigger game in the country. I dare you. I don't think you will. Maybe if something in Pennsylvania had a huge rivalry, but this is a) right in the middle of football country and b) between the #2 and #3 teams in the country. I didn't think so. Punk. This was, to me, by far the #1 game of the year. I want Oklahoma to win so badly, and feel ashamed right now that I have a Texas hat, especially since I think that it may be the better team this year, and I seem fair-weatherish, but whatever. I really wish Oklahoma could win this game, but I just can't see that happening. I guess we can all hope that Mr. Sheryl Stoops is a cunning general indeed, and he's been only revealing what he had to to win each game. G: Oklahoma, 17-13 15.0 points this is the best game ever made.who will win? Well if it goes anything according to my dynasty in NCAA 2k3, Oklahoma will be undefeated 4 years in a rowstarting with this one Phil: Texas, 27-20 8.4 points The biggest game out of all the monstrous games this year. Neither of these teams has looked impressive against weaker competition, so it's hard to say what'll happen in this year's Red River Shootout. Call me crazy, but I think Chris Simms gets his first win over a top 10 team. I guess Oklahoma has been a little less impressive in my mind, so far. Wait, what did you call me? "Crazy?" Well, that's just mean. Florida State (9), (12) at Miami (1), (1): Final Score: Miami, 28-27 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Miami, 34-13 13.2 points CFN: Miami, 38-24 15.4 points Harmon: Joe: Miami, 35-24 16.6 points I think Florida State will do better than some people think. They have no chance at winning this game, but they are a Florida team, which seems to be the only thing able to beat a non-Gainesville Florida team recently. I look for them to be down by about 18, with a garbage touchdown in the end. The main factor will be Dorsey stretching the FSU secondary on every single play. Every play. Use McGahee sparingly, only about 10 times, to the tune of 32 yards per, as the Seminoles will be forced to play the brand new "penny" formation, in which there is only one offensive lineman, and then 10 d-backs are in playing a full zone and man at the same time. G: Miami, 35-13 13.0 points Miami will crush FSU.they do not compare at allsorry! Phil: Miami, 31-15 14.6 points My-ah-me! The 'Canes live on another plain, and I really doubt the ability of the 'Noles to slow them down at all. This one looked great at the beginning of the year, but now it looks like it could be a blowout. Dorsey kills those that have little pass rush, and "those" are the Seminoles. LSU (18), (15) at Florida (16), (16): Final Score: LSU, 36-7 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Florida, 24-10 1.2 points CFN: Florida, 30-23 3.2 points Harmon: Joe: Florida, 35-31 3.8 points Oh Florida, you're all but out of the Fiesta Bowl. Grossman, you still have a shot, but you'd better make a statement here. I'm not sure Florida has the stuff to do it, but I can't go against them. They're so good, or at least they should be. Look for Grossman to make a statement here, and pull himself back into the Heisman race by his teeth. If Florida can't handle LSU, then look for the entire SEC to become PAC10-like, in that seemingly everyone can beat everyone (even Jowjah, the apparent top of the line is very touchable). G: Florida, 38-14 -1.8 points Florida will get to recover from last week. They didnt do well at all last week, and rex grossman showed me that he can be subpar when going against another good qb. This week he shouldnt have much of a problem though Phil: Florida, 33-21 1.6 points Florida is strugglin, they might have to get on their knees and start jugglin'...nah, they'll probably rebound in the swamp. How should I know, anyway. I've been just as bad with SEC games as I have with the infinitely ridiculous Pac 10. Grossman bounces back from Ole Miss like Luis was controlling him on PS2 against Arun. Tennessee (10), (9) at Georgia (6), (6): Final Score: Georgia, 18-13 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Georgia, 24-21 18.0 points CFN: Georgia, 24-17 18.4 points Harmon: Joe: Georgia, 28-21 17.6 points What a sexy, sexy game. What a sexy, sexy week. I can't believe the size of these games! I think Tennessee won't have a chance here, and this score will reflect some end-of-game garbage too. Tennessee couldn't handle Florida, and while that's not bad in any way, it does say something. I'm pretty high on Jowjah going far in the SEC. I don't even know how they're so good, but they are. Jowjah. G: Tennessee, 28-24 10.2 points I love Georgia, but casey clausen is tha bomb!! He will throw many of them tomorrow and he will definitely win the acc title.somehow.even though hes in the sechell win the acc qb title also. Phil: Georgia, 24-17 18.4 points I may have underestimated Georgia last week. I don't feel right picking them this week, but I fear I have no choice. The Vols have looked rather average ever since Grossman came to town, and on top of that, Clausen might not play. So...where my dawgs at? continued: |
