WEEK 7
Non-showcase Picks:
Oregon (7), (7) at UCLA (27), (25) (Joe's Pick): Final Score: Oregon, 31-30 GUEST SAGE JACOB: UCLA, 38-7 3.8 points CFN: UCLA, 31-28 13.6 points Harmon: Joe: Oregon, 35-14 12.8 points Oregon seems to be the class of this shaky PAC 10, but you never know. Actually, I'm not sure who is. I guess I'll take Washington. No. Wait. Wash State. No. USC. Cal's good too. You never know though. UCLA has been strong, except against a surging Colorado. OK, I take USC now. USC is the class of the conference. Damn this conference! (by the way, I'll never get tired of posting things like this. PAC 10 bewilderment provides me with endless entertainment) G: Oregon, 31-24 17.6 points UCLA? Man, Oregon will win this one. Pac-10 is just kickin the shit out of each otherthis game wont be any different Phil: Oregon, 38-31 17.4 points Pac 10, curse you! I'm not giving you the pleasure of an adequate summary! Anything to break your rotten spell! Pittsburgh (35), (33) at Notre Dame (8), (8) (Phil's Pick): Notre Dame, 14-6 GUEST SAGE JACOB: Notre Dame, 28-17 16.6 points CFN: Notre Dame, 17-14 17.4 points Harmon: Joe: Pitt, 17-14 10.6 points I may regret this. I think I've already lost three times going against the Irish. This time I'm sure. I think. If not, then next week against Air Force. They're good, but it seems like they have to slip soon. If they finish with one loss, I think I may have to take them in the Fiesta Bowl (but not to win. They'll get stomped), but we'll see how things play out. G: Notre Dame, 31-10 14.0 points Oi.ND will win, bottom line.next?!? Tyler palko and billy gaines need to get in the game though damnit! Defense will intercept another pass for a ND touchdown, and shane Walton will be the best player in the game AGAIN! Phil: Notre Dame, 17-13 17.8 points The Panthers could give ND trouble, with one of the best defenses in college football. They crushed Syracuse last week in the Carrier Dome. And their offense is starting to click, as Rod Rutherford is starting to find a groove. This could be the end of ND's undefeated season, but I can't pick against a team that keeps finding such creative ways to win.
