This was one of the greatest days of my life.
Although we didnot know when John was gonna land on Amsterdam Airport, we
figured it out Only two planes from Los angeles within three hours, so plans made and Adrie
Steenland , Petra Berend, me and our familys went to salute.
And at 12.30 hours Durtch time, I first spotted Damon the guitarist, A
great guy. he was waiting with a guy from Gold circle for Buck and John waite . They took different flights
Damon is a really nice guy!!! he really is
Then, there he was al over sudden:John Waite, red headed and tired of the long flight .We rushed over and saluted John.
John seemed very pleased and surprised!
I gave to welcome a cd from The Golden Earring, as John is a big fan of
them. He enjoyed it very much
We talked a bit with the man, Took alot of pictures and he sang aline along with me from ''always be your man''
That was fantastic
He met my wife , kissed my eldest Daughter and was very pleased with the attention we gave
But the again we love him
Then some manager took him away, somewhere so we said goodbye. Then John
said where is my cd from the Golden earring and took another two minutes to look at the booklet.
