Here Im writing some of the
things John said.It was a great interview and it was awesome to see John recording his
songs,thank you CNN!!!!
They asked John about the cover
of Missing you by Tina:
¨Its a great compliment,when I was
12 (laughs),I used to listen to all her songs,and years later,watching Tina singing my
songs,it was really fantastic¨
He talks about Life.
¨As
you get older,you get more subjective,you see life like something you have already
done,experimented,and lived.
You
are like an observer,and thats what life gives you,a lot of wisdom.But I also think that
we all are a particle in a piece of paper that has no edges,life is very big and we are
very small.¨
John talks about his record
¨I
didnt make a record since 3 years and a half,so I had all these songs I had written 5
years ago,that I didnt include in my last album,and had also written a lot of songs on
these 3 years,....its the longest time I have been so distant of the recording studio.¨
John talks about his song
writings
¨ Everything I write is personal,all songs are based in my life or
something I felt at that time.I try to say how I feel everytime.¨
John talking about Masterpiece of L.song
¨Its about a man that paints a big picture in a big house,he
paints an auto portrait,but then he turns away of the subject.Its a dark song,but
beautiful,its a beautiful tragedy but with real images.Think of ¨Missing You¨,its a very
sad and dark song wrapped in a pop melody,its typical (he laughs)

always end up doing something like this.¨
Talks about what he loves doing
¨ I feel very fortunate to express my feelings in my songs,and that
people come to see me,and listen to me,its like living in a dream,you say your personal
things and people applaud you and also pay you for doing that.(laughs).¨
