Commentary - Strip 11

Computer games are far too addictive. Coupled with my complete lack of self-discipline, it has taken away a significant portion of my young life so far. A few thousand hours so far maybe? I really should spend more time doing healthier activities. Like exercising, volunteer work, getting involved with clubs and societies, etc. The moment in panel 3 very accurately represents my state of mind every time I step back home from the hospital. I always feel so hyped, so fired up, being stimulated while in hospital to learn about all the medical conditions that that I encounter. To plug all the gaps in my knowledge, to become a proficient and competent doctor in the future. But somehow whenever I reach home, all that enthusiasm for learning is sucked away as if my house has this magical barrier to studying. Right. I'm just plain lazy.
