The Innersleeve: Official ongoings and comings and goings on at The Walrus Was Crow...
Update/ June 1st,2002: Getting a bit more regular these days, arent I? Well...went to see 1964: The Tribute for the first time last night in Tulsa, and they were incredible! Not only that, but very gracious and nice as well. I must thank Mark for searching out that used pick! Go see them when they come to town folks, thats an order! ( AND DON'T MISS THEIR "Some Other Guy"...you'd swear you were hearing the early Fabs in front of yer!) I'll do up a more in depth review later, folks. Now, what am I listening to in this first divorced summer? Could there be any doubt? Right now I'm enjoying "Help!: Original Mixes,Alternates and Outtakes" from Masterfraction. OOH But I like this disc! Also digging on "Down in Havanna" with it's plethora of "Hey Jude" rehersals. Oh yeah, BTW...you can learn more about 1964 at their website.. and even hear and see them!  Anybody else think they carefully studied the "BBC" CDs?
Update/ April 5th,2
002: Not at all hard to believe I havent posted in a while! But is anybody reading my posts, thats MY question! Be back with more soon, suffice it to say the divorce is on for April 18th. We'll see. Still searching for a keen radio gig. Oh yea, and updated the doorway page!! Those LP covers can be hypnotic, I warn ya... What am I listening to? Mainly, after finally seeing "The Real Buddy Holly Story" (with Paul as narrarator), I'm hooked up to "Buddy Holly 20 Greats". High reccomendation. You can also meet me over at Beatlelinks, I'm there often these days. BTW: Anyone want a date? Hmm...
Update: December 30th, 2
001: Hard to believe it's been this long since the page had been updated! This space is supposed to be taken up with my personal nonsense, so here goes. I've been very busy with not only my kids, but, as listeners of my radio show know, an amicable divorce. Sure, no real American divorce is truly amicable, but this one has been so far. I'll keep ya posted, single female Beatle people.
  I'm actually here a
t my other radio gig right now, producing Tulsa Crude ice hockey. I'm happy to say I helped the announcer, the self-legendary Matt Hutson, get this gig, and he's doing well.
I've been asked why I did not mention 9/11/01 anywhere here. Well, what could I say that hadn't been? I can do no better than to wish Georges wishes for you in the new year: "Love one another". Peace, brothers and sisters, the world over. May God richly bless you in
2002.
Update: April 4t
h,2001: Just wanted to let you folks know I appreciate all the kind comments that have been floatin' my way lately. Thanks! I have managed to give you a new page, Picture This, that you'll enjoy, but I can't seem to ever get to that news desk! Oh well. Drop by The Childrens Center web site, BTW, and visit my son Christian on the home page! Find out a little about this worthy orginization, huh?
What does the WWC watch on the tube? Do you really wanna know? OK, heres a rundown of our current fave raves o
n TV:

The Lone Gunmen: Fox, Fridays- Please support this cool and offbeat show!
House of Mouse: ABC Saturday Mornings- Hillarious!! Slight irreverance to all the Disney gang attending cartoon screenings in Mickeys club.
Maximum Exposure:Syndicated- Funniest clip show ever. Really mocks complete i
diocy!
Well, that's enough fer this week. I may be starting broadcasting school next week, so make like Brian Wilson and send those 'good vibrations' comin' down!

March, 2001: Betcha thought I'd never get around to this, did ya? Well for shame. There have been some admitted problems here, not the least of which were health related. Made it impossible to even get to a computer folks, so my sorries for tardiness. I'm feeling much better now though, praise God.*****
Thoughts are indeed shifting like an hourglass. Valentines has come and gone, and stupid me, I never find a suitable card for my wife, Melanie, till it's far too late. She bothered to get me one tho'. Very nice of her, very pretty card. Hope she forgives me; maybe the Olive Garden dinner will help? (Or a public apology?)******
Read comics anyone? I thought as much. Get in on the current "Injustice Be Done" stor
y arc in "JSA", from DC comics. "JSA" has featured mucho involvement from several Hollywood heavies (writer wise), so great dialouge is there for the reading. And how can you beat the original Flash, Green Lantern, and the new (and very groovy) Dr. Mid-Nite? Hey, he's even romancin' Black Canary these days! And wait for the imminent return of Hawkman to those pages.*****
What am I groovin' to at home currently? Glad you
arsked...
"Lenny Kravitz: Greatest Hits"
"DC Talk Intermission: The Greatest Hits"
"Beatles Anthology"(book)
"The Amplified Bible"
"Alter Ego"(comics history magazine)******
Space is limited, so tune in n
ext time!!
Update March 20th, 2003:Hi! Hope you like the new look around here. Yes, the world is a strange place. But you can always come here and relax. Whats news? Well... I now live in Oklahoma City, not too far from my little boy. I work for 'Newstalk 1520 KOMA' here in town as a newscaster. Pretty good gig. A better gig I'll be getting soon is husband to Stephanie! Thats right web-heads, your very own webmeister will be tying the knot April 26th. I'll keep you updated, but now maybe you understand why I'm not around too often these days!Anywhat, heres whats coming up for this website:
NO MORE NEWS! I can NOT keep up with sites like abbeyrd, nor do I want to rip them off for news. So go there for the latest happenings.
*Reviews page: Some type of monthly 'best bets' and reviews. First up, "Comic Book Heaven" and "Halo and Sprocket". BTW, these reviews will tend to be non- Beatle, just so you know.
*Some sort of CD-R tree for Beatlegs? Maybe.
*Part 2 of the U.S. Beatles LP reviews. You asked for it!
* A look at the mono mixes, an article to complement our other article on the stereo/mono battle.
*And Beatles fiction? WHY NOT?

But finally, you've got to tell me if you are reading this website!! If no ones coming, why bother updating it! LET ME KNOW!!!
I'll see ya on the flipside.

November 20th,2002:
I know, no recent updates... till this one! Thanx to Jason at MPL for reminding me I really havent bothered with this in forever. Been a bit busy tho'. Left KBIX/KHJ  finally, due to managerial conflict, shall we say. Which is fine, I'll take my talents elsewhere! However, it seems all is finally not quiet on the romance front! Yes webheads, TWWC could be full bore in love again soon...we'll see (won't we, Stephanie?)..... what are the current fave raves? Well, glad you asked, even if you didnt.
* "Allison Krauss and Union Station Live": an exceptional album, go out and buy it! Features all her loverly songs, as well as tracks from "Oh Brother, Where ..." from Dan Tyminsky. Great!
*"Brainwashed" by George Harrison: Need I even say? "any road" current fave, with "Picies Fish" a close second.
*Star Wars EpisodeII Attack of the Clones on IMAX; Star Wars Insider magazine: Truly must be seen to be believed, beware tho', the movie is an edited version....
Allright, Okay, I cant think further... I'll try again round next month. We'll see if  its gonna be a merry Christmas or not!

Update- October 19th, 2003: I'm back, but only to let you know where you can go for this type of slanderous, juicy gossip on me...anyway.. click on this link for my online blog. It'll let you know all about my life now, or as soon as I manage to update it! All about my marriage to Stephanie (yes, we DID get married!) and more. I'm still working in the same place, and am actually updating the page for once in a year! It's still important to me, believe me. Anyway, be good, and go hunting among the pages of TWWC!
