KOCC-AM

1976 - 1979

Became student manager of the campus radio station as a Sophomore, the youngest and longest serving station manager at the college. Rebuilt studios and revamped curriculum programming. Created job descriptions, managed on-air personnel scheduling, playlist, programming, news, advertisements, sales and transmitter. Was responsible for introducing sports broadcasting for home and away basketball games, live reporting from various locations around campus and the first prime-time radio show for the disabled. Student teacher for broadcasting credit class.

In 1979, helped complete FCC application for non-profit FM frequency use which subsequently resulted in expansion of station in the 1980's

$2,500 per year depending on advertising
