| Birthplace: San Jose, California Birthday: April 4, 1971 Current Residence: Morgan Hill, CA Current Employment: Occupational Therapist for the Los Gatos School District. Pet(s): Indy (Indiana), a five-year old, 90 lb. Golden Retriever. THE nicest dog in the world! Do you remember how we first met? How?: "I can't remember if our Mom's knew eack other first, or if we met at St. Catherine's..." Shelley lived "kitty-corner" across the street from me when I grew up (the same house my parents are in now). All I know is that we played a couple of times, and then her Dad got transfered to Germany for two years (he worked for IBM). They rented their house out across the street...and all of the fun and games comenced when they moved back. Do you remember what the first thing was that I said to you?: " 'Gag me with a spoon?' Ha!...Ha!...just kidding. [It was] probably, 'Wanna play Barbies?' " What song best describes your personality?: Due to the "Rated G" audience of this site, I can't repeat what her first, sarcastic answer was. Although she did say that, "Make Someone Happy" by Jimmy Durante would do the trick. "Then you'll be happy too." Favorite Food: Any kind of cereal and Jelly Bellies. MMMMmmmm....Jelly Bellies. Movie: "Singing in the Rain" Worst pet-peeve: My, does Shelley have a list: 1.) People who are double-dippers, 2.) people that don't use their turn signals (I'll have to agree with that), and 3.) "public restrooms with the toilet paper wound so tight that only one little square breaks off each time you pull on it!" Watch out folks...Shelley might slap your hand if she catches you double-dipping at the reception, especially if she was driving around Pasadena behind people who didn't use their turn signals and if the toilet paper in the bathroom was wound too tight. Beware. Most annoying/worst habit: "Worrying...about EVERYTHING!" Yes folks, Shelley is the epitome of a "worry wart." Jody's Notes: Though Shelley and I don't talk to each other that often anymore (and then there's the whole distance thing), it doesn't seem as if any time has passed between us whenever we get together--we instantly turn into 12 year-olds. Our poor husbands. Every once-in-awhile we also like to reminisce about the times that we would play "Barbies" for hours and hours on end. Sometimes, until 2:00 a.m. When we were in our early teens, Shelley and I would put on our matching outfits from KidsMart (we were 12 years-old), and fantasize about how it was our "uniform" for our all-girls club (which was just the two of us) called "The Heartbreakers." At that point in time, we were also in our "experimenting with makeup" phase, which is really just a nice way of saying "looking like adolescent clowns" phase.
