Having flown on KLM (you may want to take note of the airlines) their luggage was lost for 5 days! Repeatedly being promised it would arrive the next day, they resisted the temptation to buy new clothes, even as their collected effluvium began to attract unwanted attention from fellow conference goers. It was no doubt a fortunate thing that their game park safari occurred on the first day. Apparently, by the 4th day the lions may have come out in force looking for our boys, due to the circling vultures they�d attract.
Actually, that would have been considerably more exciting than the actual 3 hours they spent riding around seeing the same giraffe over and over again, plus some wildebeests and gazelle..
During their sweeter-smelling travel days, however, the duo ran into Amsterdam for 1 1/2 hours during their layover to have breakfast. Sean reportedly had the biggest beer they offered at 7 a.m., just because he could.
Speaking of senseless cruelty (weren�t we?), Sean also visited one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, The Carnivore. There, our smelly but gamey traveler dined on other smelly meat, namely giraffe, crocodile and gazelle.
