This courageous quintet visited London, Liverpool and Wales, including Portmeirion where the TV show The Prisoner was filmed. In Liverpool Avon and Jodi, both avid Beatles fans, happily subjected themselves to The Beatles Experience on the waterfront. Afterwards in Wales, however, Sean and Avon happily subjected Jodi to the Dr. Who Experience, (which prompted her to thumb through the nearest dictionary, intent on clarifying acceptable usages of �experience.�)
Life in Llangunlo was very peaceful and the family�s daily walks were a treat. When it wasn�t raining, the skies were bright blue, the grass was emerald and the abundance of wildflowers was inspiring. Alex quite enjoyed greeting all the livestock she could find and Dante met a boy named Thomas and his family, who had Dante over for a few play dates.
Towards the end of summer, the Moran Clan visited Sean�s family in Scotland, the Latham-Wardes. The time spent there was lovely and memorable, and as a going-away gift, Dante received a little stuffed dog she named Special. She still carries Special around and sleeps with it every night. Sean was also able to take Jodi and the girls through Dyce and Aberdeen, and to show them his childhood home.
On the return journey from Scotland, there was a quick stop in Edinburgh, which was charming and definitely somewhere to return to in the future. All in all, much thanks is owed to Rick for the rare opportunity to spend so much time exploring and experiencing his delightful country.

The event? ERIN & BORA�S WEDDING!
Yes, it was the social event of the season and the bride and groom did not disappoint. Bora looked handsome in his classy black tux and Erin glowed in her gracefully beaded two-piece dress. Dante and Alex were also in the wedding, wearing matching dresses that beautifully mirrored the bride�s.
The whole affair was a seamless mix of two cultures, combined for the single effect of a joyous celebration. After a sumptuous sit-down dinner, the guests joined the newlyweds on the dance floor. Newlyborn Master Liam Moran, however, slept through most of the event and took full advantage of the rare occasion when etiquette allows for drooling on a bride.
The happy couple honeymooned in Miami for 9 days before returning to snow-covered Istanbul.
Ms. Smith, however, was able to extend her stay to three weeks and so spent a great deal of time with her favorite 5-year-old, Miss Dante Moran, and her favorite 2-year-old, Miss Alex Moran.
In addition, she met her brand new grandson, Liam, and was able to hold him, snuggle with him, and even provide a target when he spit up. Her son, and brother-of-the-bride, was also able to sport his new golden locks for Mother�s approval (see �Halloween� section of Holidays and Celebrations in 2002 in this issue). Hair color aside, all involved agreed how nice it was to spend time together.
