Travel Section
I consider myself fortunate to have had the time to travel over the last few years.  It has been a broadening experience for me.  Growing up, my family never traveled much.  I was able to see a few states around Ohio through training in JROTC or other school programs.
My first trip after graduation was Las Vegas for Valentine's Day.  I was astounded at the sheer size and beauty of the casinos, say nothing of the bride in a patent leather gown or the prostitutes roaming about.  see b2
I recently went back to Las Vegas for my friend's 21st birthday.  Going with two girls is definitely much different than going with two men.  Rather than gambling all day, we spent all morning by the pool or shopping, and went to the clubs until the wee hours of the morning.  see b3
I had never seen the ocean before, and jumped at the chance to go to NYC.  Actually, I was playing in the ocean like a two year old in a bikini when the power grids all went out.  I had no idea that several states were without power, and would be for several days.  I was thinking 'Ooh pretty shell.'  see b4
Keven has been harassing me for years to go to Disney World.  I'd roll my eyes and make horrendous comments about the Disney characters and the people who go to those places.  He was finally able to convince me, and I enjoyed myself spinning around in teacups until I was sure I was going to vomit, and spinning around some more, just for good measure.  see b5
This previous Summer, I was lucky enough to backpack through Europe.  The trip began in London, went to Paris, Venice, Rome, the Vatican, Dublin, Glendalough, Holyhead, and back to London.  I learned that Americans really are dirty filthy pigs.   see b6
