My Portraits are "Custom" pieces on Oil Primed Linen. Sketches may either be on paper, cotton canvas or linen. Careful attention is given to the portrait's final hanging space. Framing can be determined based on the Client's decor. Lighting is most important for the painting, and the Client is responsible for any and all lighting for the painting. I will assist the Client in the selection of the frame and lighting and will discuss both throughly with the Client prior to producing the painting. All discussions are documented and a Letter of Agreement will be filed as our contract.

Pricing starts @ $250 for 8 X 10 inch sketches and can range up to $10,000 or more for "Life Size" paintings - depending on how many images are requested (i.e. several family members, pets, etc...). Sittings may be required. Once the Client and Artist have agreed on the content, up to 10 small ( no larger than 8 X 10" ) rendentions will be be produced so the Client can get an idea of what the finished painting will resemble. Color and composition will be determined during the rendention stage. Renditions are included in the Final Price agreed upon. A Retainer of 30% of the final price will be required prior to production.

I feel that Portraits of quality deserve the utmost in Professionalism and should be afforded as much attention to detail and technical expertise as can be given by the Artist. My portraits are not traced "Photo" repoductions - though photography is employed as reference material only.
