Classroom Setting
Academic work is completed in a group or individual setting. Students often help each other master skills. Students who have been unsuccessful in a traditional classroom setting usually have more difficulty with their environment than with their academic achievement. A combination of structured activities and individual study time keeps the interest and enthusiasm of the students. Additionally, textbook work is alternated with computer-based instruction. Students have many opportunities to succeed, experience personal growth, and work toward goals.Vocational Skill Development
Students who complete this program will:
- Explore a number of careers
- Develop a resume
- Learn to write a letter of inquiry
- Develop interview skills
- Learn to access information from the internet
- Learn important job skills that will enable them to advance in their careers
Class Schedule
Our class meets from 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday, September through July.
