| My name is Jim Brennan, 2nd dan. Born 8 October 1953 I started karate at 28 years old, I have been training for over twenty six years under Sensei Billy Higgins, 7th Dan and not regretted a minute of it. The training was hard, still is, but what you put in reflects on what you get out of it. One main thing that I have learned in life is to take care of your health. I have been teaching for over twenty years first under Sensei Bliiy Higgins then on my own at Hindley Karate Club since Nov. 1998. I have also been CRB checked, now a KUGB requirement, a move I fully agree with. |
| Our club, Hindley Karate Club trains in the art of Shotokan karate and has been established here at Hindley Sports Centre for many years. It has always been regarded as a family club welcoming students young or old. Parents also encouraged to train with or watch their children training, promoting a better family atmosphere. |
