| June: Kendal, another free black and brown belt course. Above the dojo where they trained and right a junior member of our karate club. Well worth a go to train under our top sensei's and further your karate career. |
Annual Charity appeal 2005 Charity Appeal Combat Stress raised �1750.00 2006 Charity Appeal Asthma UK. Souvenir Publication 40 years of KUGB. Priced at �5.00 now availlable. KUGB Report. A new governing body named " Karate England " was founded last November 2005 and the KUGB was a founder mamber. Mr A Sherry was elected as Technical Commitee Chairman and Mr. Bob Poynton was elected as secretary. The cost to each member is �1.00 and is reflected in your annual KUGB License Membership fee starting from 1st August. Mr Sherry thanked all the KUGB instructors, members and helpers for their invaluable help in maintaining the high standards thoughout the organisation. CRB Check Mr Poynton reported that over 200 Instructors have so far been checked by the CRB as this is now a requirement of the Governing Bodies. KUGB Website.
