Remember Mr. Baseball with Tom Selleck?
This is the team and field he "played" for.

My first week there, my host sister and I were cheering the Nagoya Dragons on.
Funny, the crowds at games are even polite there; no shouts of
"Get the ump outta here!," or anything.

These girls stuck by me even thouugh it'd been a year since they'd last seen me in America. We visited Nagoya Castle together, then did dinner. Good friends always take care of each other, and they did that for me!
Sumo--Japan's WWF?! The guy next to me freaked me out! I thought he was going to body slam me outta there. But they were nice and did the photo thing.

Weddings in Japan are always carried out in a Shinto shrine. The bride's hat is extremely heavy...and extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention the pasty makeup and layers of wrapped fabric in her kimono. It looks beautiful though!

Osu Kannon Temple

This was a major center for religon and socializing. Every month they had a market full of trinkets mixed with true pieces of history.
