Spring Semester 2004
The first day back. No, we did not go to Olive Garden for dinner. Art, Manny, and I did go and play with my frisbee and Art's 200g frisbee until it got too cold. Trying to talk on a cell phone and catch and throw frisbees at the same time is not advisable. We then went and watched Brett Favre be my hero and lose the game for the Packers. Then we played Lord of the Rings Risk. It was quite interesting. Art slaughtered us, of course. "I've never played this many cards before." Well, you've never played a game against me before, obviously. I hate dice, they always go against me. Then I went to Taco Bell before going over to the apartment to watch Pirates of the Carribean. Yeah, I got to bed about 3.

"I love the taste of cold tacos in the morning."
I bought my books today, and they were rather cheap. Then, I went to eat at Dinkins with Pierre. We sat in there and talked religion and society for a good hour, maybe even longer. It was all very educational. Later, Kenneth, Aaron Russell, and I went to the Nance to play board games with Mere and Jen. First we played Balderdash, and amazingly enough, I won. I don't understand it, I suck at that game. Then we played Chronology. We had a lot of fun with that one, they all seemed to enjoy it. Russell won the first game and I won the next two. The girls wanted to go to bed, so we left around 11. We then decided to get some semi-naked volleyball pictures. So, Kenneth and I are out there playing volleyball without shirts, and Russell decides there isn't enough light. The fact that he could have used a flash momentarily escaped his mind. Anyways, he still wanted to do something really random. I suggested going downtown to find a convienient spot to take a picture. Russell decided we should go down to City Hall and do it there. We used an entire roll of film. It was great, the pictures are awesome. There was a custodian in the building who did a double take when she saw us out there. And three police cars drove by and made Kenny really nervous. We weren't doing anything illegal, well except for that whole standing on the fountain thing. Anyways, we got back to Richardson at 1.

Ah yes, the return of frisbee. It was a great work out to get out there and start playing again. "I'm going to cut down on the diving when I'm playing." "Suuuuuure you are Art." Note he said "cut down" and not "stop," and in order to make a good comparison you have to remember how much he dove around when he played before. When was that? A long time ago. Hence, no means of comparison. Then I went to the apartment to take a look at the pictures. They came out great. Complete and utter randomness, that's what we're all about. Then, we played with Kenneth's Eye Toy. High Score in Boxing baby! Later, Brittany, Anne, Benson, Russell, Ponds, and I showed up at the apartment. We ended up playing Balderdash. Again. I would like to reiterate my distaste for said board game. It was interesting all the same. "You made me lose my train of thought!"

1/14/04-1/17/04 Wednesday: The first day of classes. It's going to be a tough semester, but I should be able to get through it. We also went on the inaugural trip to Dunkin Donuts. From this trip I learned that I have a hard time holding back my jealousy when I'm around Art and Aaron. We then went over to the apartment for a little bit. Art ran a red light on the way over there while he was in the midst of trying to tell a story. Apparently, Benson and Kenneth were making out in a closet or something. And later, they both came out of the closet. Just wait until we tell Anna!
Thursday night: We all went to the Roasting Company to play some games. Mere, Jen, Ponds, Art, Kat, Kenneth, and I played a couple games of Skip-Bo and then they started yet another game of Balderdash. How I dislike that game! We saw a whole bunch of people in there that we knew, too. It was definately the night to be at the coffee shop.
Friday: Four very inspired games of frisbee. Every game Marvin was in, he lost by one point. We, Ponds, Benson, Anna, Aaron R., Mere, Jen, Brittany, Catie, and I, went to Roller Magic at about 8. We had a lot of fun. The two Aarons were fun to watch. Russell had the top 3 wipe outs of the night. I'm so glad I brought my blades down here, it's so convenient. We came back at about 10:45. Then, Ponds, Benson, Anna, and I went to Taco Bell for some much needed food. Then we went to Wofford to chill with Russell since he was working the desk there. "Wait Anna, drop the leash, he's choking to death!" Yeah, Benson is in trouble, because I will have no problems giving his girlfriend dirt on him. Oh yes, I am definately an interesting character.
Saturday: Two games of frisbee. Both played with a lower level of competition than yesterday. For one thing, it was colder. Then, I went to the women's game. I've seen high school girls teams play better basketball. I sat with Chris and one of the guys from his hall. We sat there and made fun of both teams the entire game. It was awful. Then, I went with Chris to the cafe. It was your typical Saturday Thomson dinner: Bad. Chris says, "I'm going to go get some real food." So, we leave. Once, we're out of Thomson, Chris calls someone. "Hey, Kelly, what are you doing right now? Want to go get something to eat?" "I hate you Chris, you bastard." Chris then continues to laugh at me. Jealous, me? Never! Time to start hanging out with my single friends more often. Later, Ponds and I played some pool in Dinkins. And we watched some of the Family Guy in Benson's room. I was in there until about 1, when Andy wanted to leave. I did enjoy Benson's comics. And I had forgotten how much I enjoyed reading Liberty Meadows. How I do miss that strip.
Championship Football Sunday. I watched the AFC championship with some of the guys on the hall at our hall social. It was cool, and I got some free pizza. Then, I went over to the apartment to watch the Panthers game. There were a lot of people there, about twenty. Eric and Orty made comments throughout the game, and I chimed in a little. Marvin, Kenneth, and Manny were in charge of the grill. Jake was teaching Football 101 so the girls could somewhat understand what was going on. After the Panthers win, and people start filing out, Ponds, Kenneth, Aaron R., and I get into another of those relationship conversations. Single Guys Unite! When then went and ran around on campus a bit, until they told us to leave. Then, Kenneth, Ponds, and I went to Waffle House to satiate the hunger we worked up running around. Any guesses to what we talked about? Yes, that's right, girls.
