U.S.E.P.A. Information Sources

The best source for information on all aspects of the environment is the U.S.E.P.A. Main Page. On this page you will find a multitude of information. The following is a partial listing of some of the information that you can access on this page:

The E.P.A. is divided into 10 regions, each with its own library. There are also additional specialized libraries. All of these libraries can be accessed through the National Library Network.

Also investigate the Other Resources page for additional research links-Hotlines, Clearinghouses, Information Centers.

For Region 2 information, which encompasses New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands, access the Region 2 Library, where you can search the library catalog, access magazine websites, find search tips and Internet Pathfinders for environmental information.

Additional E.P.A. Resources

EMPACT - Environmental Monitoring for Public Access and Community Tracking. Provides environmental information for communities in large metropolitan areas.
