Center for Environmental Information and Statistics(CEIS)- Provides environmental profiles on air quality, drinking water systems, surface water quality, hazardous waste, and reported toxic releases for communities, accessed by zip code. Compliance Assistance Centers-Assists small businesses to understand what they need to do to comply with environmental regulations. Additional Sources of Information Resources for the Future - A non-profit organization that conducts independent research on environmental and natural resource issues. The Environmental Law Institute - An independent research and education center, which works to improve law, policy and management. A good resource for environmental law and policy. Environment Online - A comprehensive online international networking center and Internet resources directory for the environment. Environmental Organization WebDirectory - A search engine providing links to environmental sources for a number of categories-forestry, land conservation, pollution, recycling and much, much more. WWW Virtual Library-Environment - A searchable index of over 1,000 environmental resources arranged alphabetically and by category. National Library for the Environment - A comprehensive source for bulletin boards, employment, population and environment linkages, organized research gateways, and online environmental journals. The Water Librarians' Home Page - Contains links to resources for water, science and technology, law and government agencies, and library links for librarians.
