- In the summer of 1985, the Jerusalem English Speaking Theatre (JEST)
was formed by a group of volunteers with the aim of establishing a
community theatre in English. Our ranks have grown to a large group
of dedicated members. JEST produces plays at a rate of three to four
a year, with some plays being sent abroad.
- JEST is a Registered Non-Profit Organization (Amutah), No. 58-009-821-8. The JEST bylaws can be viewed at Bylaws.
- JEST is a tax exempt organization. Tax exempt donations to JEST from the United States can be made through the PEF Israel Endowment Funds, Inc., 317 Madison Avenue, Suite 607, New York, NY 10017, USA. All contributions must be by check in US dollars (minimum $25) and payable to PEF Israel Endowment funds, Inc., and should carry a recommendation for the use of the funds for the beneift of the Jerusalem English Speaking Theatre, Jerusalem, Israel.
