231. Solomon Werkheiser (b. 3/15/1811-11/13/1878) married Elizabeth Kemmerer (4/16/1814-8/7/1885). Solomon was 47 when his father died. He owned his own farm which today is a horse farm known as Hob Nob Hill Farm. It is way-way back up on a hill in Northampton County. Viola Werkheiser Nicholas, one of the historians, is one of his many great-grandchildren.
Solomon and Elizabeth had seven children:
- 2311. Sarah Werkheiser (10/18/1834-3/25/1911) married Andrew Klump (10/30/1835-12/26/1899) on December 26, 1865. Sarah was born in Forks Township and Andrew was born in Stockertown. Sarah and Andrew had four children:

- 23112. Emma Klump married Benjamin Ealer.
- 23113. Milton Klump married Ella Lance (1871-7/6/1936). Ella had the Rev. L.B. Klick officiating and the interment was in the Plainfield Cemetery. Milton and Ella had eight children:
