SIMPOSYONISTAS sa may kanto (a.k.a. RED HORSE SYMPOSIUM NIGHTS)

symposium - sym.po.si.ums (Latin, drinking party, from Greek sumposion: sun-, syn- + posis, drinking)
1. A meeting or conference fro discussion a topic, especially one in which the participants form an audience and makes a presentation.
2. A convivial meeting for drinking, music, and intellectual discussion among the ancient Greeks.

The Symposium by Plato
In Plato's Symposium, Socrates and his colleauges are seen discussing or debating philosophies about life, especially love. In the symposiums of ancient Greeks, the group would gather around in a circle with a mug of alcohol of some sort passed around them. The one holding the mug has the freedom to speak of his beliefs and philosophies about the topic at hand.

Today, we carry out this noble tradition of altercations. Occasionally (mostly when depressed or after a devastating long exam), we would gather ourselves into our place of refuge and find solace in several bottles of Red Horse grande; thus, the name Red Horse Symposium nights.
We would discuss anything- whether it be about life, procreation, the human female species, the past, our favorites, what have you. In the end, when all is said and done and all the bottles emptied, we would be knocked-out on our beds knowing a terrible hang-over would be waiting for us the next day. It's all good, though, as one of us always fervently states, because we know that after every session we have made a difference, and that we, small as it may seem, continue to live out history at its finest.
