Chapter 6
I awoke to the
sound of knocking at my door. I quickly sat up in bed and looked at the clock:
11 a.m. It must be Theresa again. I woke Tony up and he jumped out of bed.
Imagine that: two naked people running around the room!
“Oh! Hide!” he whispered
really loud while he picked up all his clothes off the floor. I put on my robe
and he went into the bathroom and closed the door. I looked through the peek
hole and saw that it was Theresa. I opened the door.
“Hi!” I said, running my
right hand through my hair. “Hey,” she said with a strange look on
her face. “What happened to you?”
“Hmm? What do you—Oh! I was
just—I roll around in bed a lot, I guess,” I quickly made up.
“So, um, what’s going on?”
“Oh, I just wanted to see if you
were busy or something. But it looks like you’re not completely awake, so
I’ll just leave you alone. If that’s all right with
you?”
“Oh. Yeah, sure. I just stayed up
last night watching tv that’s all. I’ll see you Monday!”
“See ya!”
I closed the
door and breathed a sigh of relief. Tony came out of the bathroom with only his
shorts on. Oh wow how sexy was that?!
“Well hello, luv!” he said
as he put his arms around my waist and kissed me. “Morning, Tony!” I
said. “That was close. You know what? I wonder if she smelled sex on
me.”
“What? Smelled sex?”
“Yeah! I saw it on some tv
show.”
“Well you better get used to
it.”
He gave me a
really sly smile and looked right into my eyes. Oh geez I almost fainted right
there in his arms!
“Oh damn I need a shower!”
We let go of each other and I went over to my drawer to get some clothes. He
followed and put his arms around my waist again.
“I need a bath as well,” he
said and started giving me little kisses on my neck. “Mind if I join
you?”
“Not at all,” I said and we
went into the bathroom holding hands. He took off his shorts as I filled the
bathtub with warm water.
“Here. You sit in there and
I’ll give you a bath,” he said. “Okay!” I said
enthusiastically and climbed inside the bathtub. He went out of the bathroom to
find a little stool he could sit on. He put it next to the bathtub and sat down.
Then he pulled my shoulders back so I leaned on the tub. He took out some
shampoo from the bottle and began putting it in my hair. I just closed my eyes
and let my mind drift. He massaged my head so good that I almost fell asleep! I
don’t know how long he did it but I knew that I really liked it.
“Are you still awake?” he
asked with a chuckle. “Oh. Yeah, I am!”
“Okay I’m gonna wash it out
now,” he said as I sat up. “We’re probably gonna have to drain
the water first,” I suggested. So I did just that and he washed the
shampoo out of my hair. I sat down again and he did the same process with the
conditioner. Then it was time for the soap. He took a sponge, lathered it up and
started rubbing it against my back.
“I think it’s gonna take us
forever to take a bath!” I said with a laugh. “I know! And I still
need to get clean!” he said. “Ya know what, let’s just take a
shower!” I said and stood up. “Come on in.”
I drained the
water and turned on the shower when Tony got in and shut the sliding door to the
tub. I stood in front of him as he continued to lather my body with soap. It
actually felt comfortable, having somebody else cleaning me off! So for the next
15-20 minutes we took turns cleaning each other off.
At around
2:00, Tony left by sneaking out the back door. For most of the day I wrote about
Tony and the past few days in my diary.
The next
morning, I woke up in a good mood, which was usually not like me. But I did have
one of the best weekends ever so I had a good reason to be in a good mood. As I
walked to first period, I couldn’t stop smiling to myself. I sat in my
seat next to Theresa and she kept looking at me weird.
“What?” I asked her.
“You look happy today! What
happened to you all weekend?”
“Oh. Um…nothing,
really.”
“You don’t smile when
nothing happens in your life. Did you even go anywhere in the last two
days?”
“Nope. I just stayed
home.”
“Okay, you’re weird.
You’re not gonna tell me what really happened are you? Did you get your
phone fixed or something and Tony started calling you?”
“Tony?! Where?” I said out
loud and looked around. Theresa gave me that look again. Oh man was I really
losing it?
All day long I
couldn’t stop thinking about Tony and our little weekend. I couldn’t
even concentrate during classes or eat lunch.
After school,
Theresa and I were walking home together.
“What is really going on with
you? You’ve been smiling all day long! I don’t think countless hours
of WL can do that to a person!” she said. All I did was sigh and looked up
at the sky. “Yeah, hours of WL can do that to you
actually.”
We walked
along the road in silence for two minutes until she stopped walking.
“You slept with him didn’t
you?” she blurted out. I turned around to look at her.
“What?” I said
innocently.
“You had sex with Tony this
weekend didn’t you? That’s why you would never wake up! And
that’s why you have that stupid grin on your face!”
I just stood
there looking down at my feet. What was I gonna tell her? I’m definitely
not going to tell her I had sex with Tony! I couldn’t help my smiling! I
guess I’m gonna have to lie to her again. Boy some friend I am!
“No, look. That didn’t
happen.”
“Then what did? Come on you can
tell me! I won’t tell anybody, I swear.”
“Well…he came
over…and we talked.”
“That’s
it?”
“Okay…well…Um…What if I told you that we did
sleep together?”
“So you did sleep with
him?”
“Yeah. Just what I said, sleep
with him. That’s it.”
“Oh, so you mean you didn’t
have actual sex.”
I nodded.
Whew! Hopefully she’ll believe that. We continued our walk home.
“So he’s in love with you
now?” she just had to ask.
“I think so. And I think
I’m in love with him!”
“You’re just now figuring
that out? I thought you’ve always been in love with
him.”
“No you see when you have a crush
on a celebrity, you’re just saying that you love him. But now that I
actually know Tony, I really am in love with him!”
“Well, I’m not disapproving
of your relationship in any way.”
“You aren’t?
Good!”
“Yeah. I mean, you’re an
adult now, legally. So it wouldn’t really matter to me
anymore.”
“Cool.”
We split up
once we made it to our own flats. I went inside, put my books down and went
straight to my room to lay down. All of a sudden the sound of a phone ringing
came out of nowhere and I jumped up. I looked under my nightstand and saw the
phone. How did that get there? Oh wait! Maybe Tony had it fixed for me! Aw what
a sweetheart! I picked up the phone.
“Hello?”
“Hello, luv, you’re
home!” It was Tony!
“Thank you,
Tony!”
“For what? Oh yes! The phone! I
had it fixed while you were in class. This way we can communicate without me
having to come over all the time.”
“Not that it was a
problem.”
“Yes I know I wouldn’t mind
either, but the neighbors you know.”
“Yeah I know what you
mean.” I saw a sheet of paper with a phone number written on it. I’m
guessing this is mine.
“Look I’ll be away for two
days on business, so you won’t be seeing me for a
while.”
“Aw, that’s too bad!
I’ll miss you.”
“Yes luv I’ll miss you too.
Listen, I have to go right now. I’ll call you tonight,
okay?”
“Okay! Bye
Tony!”
“Goodbye luv!”
