Evaluation
Each student will be evaluated according to the following:

In-class on-task behavior
Individual grade for research
Group grade for presentation
Individual grade for essay response

Group Presentation Rubric:

100 - 90 Presentation is highly organized and well planned.  Materials are appropriate to the topic and convey superior understanding of the importance of the topic.  Presentation is creative and well documented.

80 - 70  Presentation is organized, appropriate for the topic, complete and easy to follow. Group presentation show solid knowledge of the topic.  Presentation is appropriately documentd and reflects quality, but is not superior.

60 - 50  Presentation reflects the topic and thought process but is not completely appropriate.  Format/information is inaccurate or incomplete in some areas.  Conveys knowledge of topic, but at times is unclear and shows little creativity.

40 - 20  Presentation is unorganized, poorly documented, and lacks creativity.  Some sections may be incomplete or inaccurate.  Project is of overall poor quality and reflects little effort.

10 - 0  Presentation is incomplete, contains incorrect information, and reflects little or no effort.  Shows little or no knowledge of the topic.  Overall quality is poor.
