This is it, it's officially booked! The wedding is most definitely confirmed for May 10, 2003!

Here's the Historic Heights Fire Station where we've chosen to hold our wedding and reception. |
and here it is again... |

This is the room upstairs where we will be. |
| and another view... | ![]() |
| OK, here's the floor plans of the firestation. We have the whole place, but will mainly be using the upstairs. Now, as you come up the stairs you're in a hallway and at the end is a large doorway into the main room. In this picture, the stairs are at the end of the hall on the left. Before you get to the stairs, there's a door on the left that goes to the other room, which is probably where we'll have the buffet. On the little table here is where the guestbook will go. |

| There are 3 doors on the wall where you walk in. The big doors that are (almost) in the middle. To the right of that is a door to a storage room (pictured). To the left of the main door is a door (not pictured) to the other room where the buffet will probably be. |

To the right of the storage room door mentioned above is a curio cabinet... well, fewer empty corners to worry about. |

On the wall to the right as you walk in is the firepole. It's sealed off, which is sad - what an exit we could have made! Also on this wall, in the far corner (not pictured) is the upright piano. When we went to take these pictures, they had the room set up for another function, so we got to see it with the tables set up. |
| On the wall to the left as you walk in, there's a sideboard/buffet thing. I was thinking of making this the cake table, but maybe there's not enough room to serve cake from here. Maybe it should be the gift table? |

On the far wall... well, there's not really anything on the back wall. Where this table is is where I think well stand for the ceremony. Put some plants around in a semi-circle, an arch with flowers, maybe some pedastels... |
| This is the arch I bought last weekend (on sale for $7! Woohoo!) It's a garden arch, so we can use it in the yard after the wedding. From one side to the other, going over the arch, it's 18 feet. It's about 2 inches shy of scraping my living room ceiling. It's 15 inches deep and about 4.5 feet wide. | ![]() |
