The Wedding...       Rob and Jena...       May 10, 2003...

Sorry! Snooping grooms can't see the dress! Ha ha ha!!!

OK, just kidding... I bought the dress! Woohoo! It's ivory, it's sparkly, and it has sleeves! (You have no idea how hard it is to find a dress that isn't strapless or just has spaghetti straps!!) It's being sent out to be cleaned and then has to be altered, but it is wonderful!!

OK, by popular demand, or at least the demand of the matron of honor, here's some pictures of it... some are on me with my head chopped off, some are from the designers website. Mine is actually ivory, but some pictures show it as white (which isn't nearly as pretty as mine - I'm not biased am I?)

Yea! I picked up my dress today!! I'm so excited!! (It was sent out to be cleaned, so this is its first trip home...) Of course, it still has to be altered, but for right now I have it!

I found my shoes this weekend, so now my wardrobe is complete! Now I can go to the seamstress for alterations (had to have the shoes first!). Also, my mom sent me a paint chip that matches the color of her dress. I'm going to get a paint chip that matches mine and Robyn's dresses as well so we can see how all the colors work. Hopefully, this will help us pick a color for the flowergirl's dress (my little cousin Brooke). 75 days to go!

The dress has been altered! It fits! My wonderful seamstress, Nurdan Dolan at JMJ Designs has fixed my back gap-o-sis and is just adding the hooks for the bustle. I tried it on Tuesday and I still love it! It's ready to pick up whenever I'm ready to take my bridal portraits!
