Chapter 14

At about 9:00 pm that night the boys were interupted by the doorbell.  "Who could that be?" Abs asked the guys as he went to the door. "ABS!!" Jessica screamed when he opened the door. Behind her were Marybeth and Candy. The girls came jumping into the living room, obviously happy. Candy scanned the room, "Where's Scott?" she asked.. "He's in his room" Sean answered. "Good" Marybeth said, "We wouldn't want to tell him anyways." "Tell him what?" Abs asked. "Nathan and Alea are getting married not tomorrow but the next day.! And we're all invited!" the girls screamed. "Can you believe it!" Jessica screamed, "Alea told me that they would be having it back home in a couple of months, so we knew we wouldn't be able to go. But Nathan surprised her today, supposonly he's been planning it for weeks. He took her to their new house  and all the guests came running out! Supposonly Alea just like collapsed because she was so happy!" Jessica continued to jump up and down with the other girls. Finally Candy realised that they guys were not happy. "Why aren't you happy" Candy asked. Abs broke the silence and told them "Last night Alea spent the night here.....with Scott. They decided to get back together. Alea was just thinking of a way to break it to Nathan" Abs finished with sadness in his voice. That's when they heard a door slam. Scott had been listening the entire time. "Oh great" Abs said "I'll go talk to him."

"Mom?" Alea asked. "Yes sweatie" "I don't think  I'm ready to get married" Alea said. "Oh honey, it's just cold feet. You probably just don;t feel ready because you weren't expecting it." her mom answered. "No mom. It's not that. I don;t know how to say this, but, I was planning on breaking it off with Nathan." Alea said with tears in her eyes. "WHAT?" her mother hissed. " Somebody else loves me and I love them back." Alea cried "I don't care! Nathan is perfect! And he's real! He's not some stupid celebrity who will dump you as soon as a super model walks by! It's just cold feet your feeling. But to make sure Scott is NOT invited to the wedding. That way when you look in Nathan's eyes you will know you were wrong. Goodnight Alea!" she said as she wlaked out of the room. "Oh god" Alea cried as she picked up the phone.

Scott and the others were all talking on how to get Alea out of the wedding. "Scott, I still think the best way would be to make an objection" Abs said. Scott and the others continued to talk while J went and answered the door. J soon returned with Keesha by his side. "Guys I have some bad news" Keesha said. "What could be any worse?" Scott asked. "I talked to both Alea and her mother. Alea told her mother she didn't want to get married. Her mother completly freaked out and swore you would not be able to go anywhere near Alea or the wedding. Plus since in an hour it's officially one day till the wedding, Alea isn't allowed to talk to Nathan beacuse of that superstition. And since everyone believes Alea just has cold feet they see no need to break the rules.." "Now what do we do?" Abs asked. "Nothing" Scott said, "there's no way out of it. She's leaving me" Scott then went upstairs to his bedrrom.
