Chapter 11

"Excuse me" Alea said with a small smile as she went to the bathroom. "What's wrong with you?" Alea lectured herself. "Are you okay?" Candy asked as her and Alea walked back to the table. Alea was feeling perfectly fine, then she looked at the table.... at him. "No, I gotta go." she said as she quickly ran out.

"Where's Alea going?" Abs asked as Candy sat down. "She's not feeling well, I think" Candy answered. From that moment on Scott became fairly quiet for the rest of the night.

"What are you doing back so soon" Nathan asked. "Wasn't in the mood to hang out. I'm just gonna go to bed. Goodnight" Alea kissed Nathan and headed to the bedroom.

Alea changed into her pj's and climbed into bed. She tried for over an hour to fall asleep but she just couldn't do it, she just kept tossing and turning. She finally gave up and hopped outta bed only to find Nathan getting in. "Are you okay?" he asked her, "Yeah, just can't sleep. Don't worry though, get some rest" Alea told him as she closed the bedroom door. She quietly walked over to the fireplace and turned it on. Then she sat in the big comfy chair right infront of it. She needed to do some thinking, before it was too late.

"Wow your up early" Nathan comented as he walked out of the bedroom. "What?" Alea asked. "Well it's seven am, I would have thought you would sleep in since you couldn't get any sleep last night." Nathan replied. "Oh, yeah" Alea laughed quietly. She knew she had to pretened that she had actaully gone to sleep last night. In reality she hadn't even thought about sleeping, she was too deep in her thoughts.

"Hey how are you?" Jessica asked through the phone. "I'm doing good." Alea answered. "Feeling better?" "Yeah I feel better" "Good, cuz the guys are throwing a party and you and Nathan are invited. See you tonight" Jessica said "Wait! Aren't you even going to ask if I'm available tonight? Or if Me and Nathan havn't made plans already?" "Oh Yeah!, Like that would happen, what freinds have you guys made other than us!" Jessica laughed. Alea laughed and told her "Yeah we'll be there:" and hung up the phone.

~Later That Night~

Alea thought it would be a nice night to walk, so she walked to the party. Nathan couldn't come though, he had a job interview the next day and couldn't be partying all night. In a way she was sad because he couldn't come, but in another way she was happy, which scared her.

"Hey Alea!" Abs screamed over the loud music as he opened the door. "Where's Nathan?!?!" he screamed even louder. "He couldn't come" Alea said. Abs then put a hand to his ear to signal he couldn't hear her. She laughed while screaming "He couldn't make it!" Abs nodded his head and smiled, happy that he had actaully heard her over the music. "Make yourself at home!" he scremed as he grabbed her jacket and entered the blob of party go'ers.

She must have circled the party for a half an hour before giving up on finding Abs or anyone else she knew. A bit depressed she walked out onto the back porch. The breeze felt cold on her skin so that she shivered. Rubbing her arms with her hands she slowly walked to the railing and looked out at the stars. Ever since she was a child she had always belived that stars were peoples guadian angels. Her mother had told her that you could ask them questions and they would respond to you.. She felt so confused that in her head still ran the continuing thoughts from the night before. Then the most beautiful thing she had ever seen happened, a shooting star shot through the air. "Wow, a shooting star" she whispered. "Beautiful isn't?" a familer voice said from behind her. She turned around "Hi Scott" she blinked as her stomach acted up on her again. "I saw you walking inside, I tried to get to you but with all those people I couldn't" Scott said. "That's okay. Where's everyone else?" "I dunno, your the first person I've seen in a couple of hours" he laughed. "Where's Nathan?" "Oh, he has an interview in the morning, so he needed his rest" she answered. "Would you like to go for a walk?" Scott asked. "I'd love to" Alea answered with a smile.

They had been walking in silence for about 10 minutes. Alea, wearing short sleves began to shiver even more. "Are you cold?" Scott asked. "J-Just a litt-tle" Scott gave her these eyes like 'oh you poor baby'. But not in a sarcastic way, in a truly genuine way. His eyes were so beautiful she thought. She could always tell how he was feeling just by his eyes, they were truly windows into his soul. Scott took off his jacket and helped her put it on, she then turned to face him and said "Thank you" Scott looked at her closly, he had missed her so much. He never realized how much he had missed her hair, ears, nose, cheeks, lips.... Lips, they looked so perfect and so welcoming. Scott missed them the most. Before he could think any more, he began to lean in, to his surprise she leaned in to. They then kissed in a way they had never kissed each other before. As time passed the kiss got more intense. Like they realized how much they missed it, and wanted more with every second. They continued to kiss as a shooting star flew across the beautiful sky.
