*Chapter 8*

A month had passed since Alea first met Scott. So far she thought everything was ok, but she knew this was because Scott was only with her for a week, then he went on a mini three week tour. Scott and the guys were going to be back the next day. Scott called her everyday telling her what him and the guys had been up to. Scott had already planned a press conference to introduce Alea as his girlfriend. Alea knew this was going to be hard, it was only 2 more days till the announcement. She knew she needed support and that's why Alea had Keesha flown in to help her out. Keesha had already been with Alea for 2 days. Keesha was going to be leaving the day after the press conference. Alea knew this was going to change her life, and that's why since Keesha got there her and Alea had been shopping. Alea estimated she had already spent over seven thousand dollers on the 2 days. She never knew if she'd be able to go to a mall again and just shop, so she wanted to enjoy it.

~The morning before the press Conference~
"Morning guys" Alea announced to the group of girls that just woke up. "Girl it's seven in the morning how come your so awake?" "Well that's cause I've been up since 5 waiting for Scott to call with what time his plane is coming in"
The phone rang and Alea quickly answered it.

"Hello"
"Hi Alea"
"Hi Scott! So what time is your plane getting in? I'm so nervous about tomorrow!"
"Well that's why I'm calling. Unfortunatly we have some more places to go on the tour that were added suddenly. So I'll just have to meet you at the conference tomorrow"
"What??? Scott I can't go there by myself!"
"It will be easier this way, this way you just look like a reporter when you walk in"
"Fine....but the girls can come right?"
"Yes they can come, I'll see you tomorrow and don't worry everything will be O.K"
Scott gave her the details of the next day

Alea didn't sleep at all that night she was totally nervous about the next day. The press conference started at 10:00am. 5ive were going to announce their tour dates and news on the new album. But the real reason they were having the conference was to announce Alea.

Keesha and the other girls weren't allowed to go in the backstage area, so Alea had to wait there by herself until the guys arrived. Scott and the guys finally arrived at 9:30. Alea ran up and hugged Scott and the guys. "Scott maybe we shouldn't announce it today" "Don't worry everything will be O.K.

At about 10:30 5ive had talked about all the other stuff, it was now time to get to the real reason they were here. Scott cleared his throut as he began to talk. "Ladies and gentleman the main reason  you are all here today is for this next announcement. 5ive believes that we should tell our fans everything. And that's why I'm here to announce I have a girlfriend" The press began to smile as they took notes and cameras were being taken out. "Alea come out here please" Scott said through the microphone. As Alea walked out she was blinded by lights. Even 5ive had to close there eyes they were so bright, and 5ive were used to flashes. Scott quickly made his way over to her and put his arm around her. She imediatly felt better even though she couldn't barely see him. Once the photographs were taken. Scott said no personal information would be realesed and the conference was over.

They were all at the airport as Keesha got ready to leave. Keesha said goodbye to Candy,Jessica and Marybeth. Over the past few days they had become friends and decided they'd keep in touch through e-mail. She then hugged Scott and said "Take care of her, she's not as strong as she let's people think. Remember that Scott" Scott nodded as Keesha realesed him. "Bye girl" "Bye" They hugged and Keesha began to walk away, when all of a sudden she remebered something. She turned around and walked back to Alea. "I almost forgot" She said handing her the envelope. "You better take pictures!" Keesha laughed as she walked to the boarding area. Alea wondered what she meant by that as Scott looked over her shoulder at the envelope. It was a letter from her mother.

Hi Alea
I'm going to make this letter short and sweet. I've talked with you, Keesha and your father. And I've come to a decision. Your probably wondering what decision? Well it's a decision that I've been thinking about for a while. I think you should stay in England. You have friends there and most importantly a boyfriend. I talked to your friend Jessica and she can get you registered into her school. Just remember to have fun!! But not too much fun! Go to school and enjoy life and don't forget about your little old mother and your family. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, that's why I'm letting you take it.

"Oh my Gosh" Alea screamed. Then from across the airport she heard Keesha scream before she was boarded. "Don't forget about me!!" Before Alea could scream back 'I won't' she was already on the plane.
