Chapter 18

"Mom you shouldn't ha........" Abs stopped as he walked into the kitchen. J, Sean and Rich soon entered the kitchen. "What's going on here?" Rich asked. Scott finally entered the room "Ummm finally a real meal..........Alea? What are you doing out of bed? Your appointment isn't for another four days." Scott said, sounding fairly upset. "I was just trying to surprise you guys. I mean you always eat take out, and I was feeling a lot better so.........." Alea explained but was cut off. "Alea you heard the doctor.... Come on" Scott said as he helped her back to her room, but Alea felt it was more like pulling. Once Alea sat down on the bed, Scott just looked at her, his eyes looked filled with dissapointment. She couldn't believe what was happening, but she didn't have to for very long, cause before she knew it he just walked out the door. "I was just trying to be nice" she whispered as she laid down on the bed.

As Scott walked back into the kitchen the guys were already devouring the food Alea had made. "Man this is good, try this one Rich" Abs told Rich as he placed the bowl in front of them. "Mmmm, man I haven't eaten anything this good in a long time" J said before sticking another spoonful in his mouth. "You guys shouldn't be encouraging her" Scott said as he sat down at the table. "Huh?" Sean asked inbetween eating. "Not one of you said she shouldn't be up. The doctor said complete bedrest for two weeks. The last time I checked cooking a gormet meal is not bedrest. Especially cooking a meal for us, like were worth her injuring herself again. I'm gonna go watch T.V" Scott said while standing up. "You should at least tell her it's a great meal" Abs said. "I'm not hungry" Scott simply said as he walked out.

~~ 4 Days Later ~~

"Wow Alea, you've made great progress.I'd say your gonna be just fine. You can go back to your regular life, but take it easy, I mean don't just decide your gonna go mountain climbing okay? Take it easy. You may have a view headaches and pains, just take an asprin and relax for a bit. I'll see you in two months for a checkup. But if you don't feel well, feel free to come here earlier." The doctor told Alea and Jessica. "Later we're gonna go to the mall and go on a shopping spree to celebrate" Jessica told Alea as they walked to the car. "Yeah, the guys should be back from that T.V show at four, so pick me up at five"  The girls than walked into the guys house to be greeted by Candy and Marybeth. "Hey" they both said. "The interview starts in like 2 minutes" Candy said. The girls watched as 5ive we're interviewed. They asked all the same old things, how's you get together?, what's it like living together? what about the new album? then they got to the good questions. "Do any of you have girlfriends?" The reporter asked. "Yeah" "No" "No" "No" "I Wish" "I'm looking for that special someone" "Her names Billie" All the guys rambled on in one big clump. Alea and the other girls just stared until the interview ended. "Scott never answered, he didn't say a thing" Alea said in a shocked whisper. "He probably did but all the guys were talking" Marybeth said, but she and the other girls all knew the truth. Alea started to cry as ahe said "Don't lie!! I watched him, he didn't even open his mouth!!!" "Alea your just over reacting" Candy reassured her. "You guys are probably right. Pick me up at 5" Alea waved as the three left.

"Hey Scott" Alea welcomed him with a hug. "Where's the rest of the guys?" "There just getting the groceries out of the car" Scott said "So I'm assuming the appointment went well?" "Yep, perfectly well, the girls are gonna be here to pick me up in an hour, we're gonna go shopping" "I don't think that's a good idea Alea" Scott said worried "I'll be fine, Scott. Even the doctor said so" "Well I say no!! Your not going out!" Scott said as his voice began to raise. "Excuse me? But I can do whatever the hell I want!" Alea screamed. "Alea!....." Scott never finished. "I'M GOING OUT. GOODBYE SCOTT! SEE YOU LATER"  Alea screamed as she walked out the door. On her way down the path she bumped right into Abs, causing his bag of groceries to fall all over the ground. Alea didn't even stop to say sorry, as she walked down the street. "Someone just got into there first argument" Rich said as the other guys helped him pick up what was salvagable of the groceries on the ground. "She could've at least said sorry" Abs said rubbing his arm, just realizing how hard she bumped into him.
