Chapter 20
"Oh My gosh" Alea cried in the corner of the room. "What just happened?....I think.....we......we.... broke up." Alea stared at a picture of her and Scott. "Well there's only one thing to do.....I guess the sooner the better....so i guess tomorrow.......tomorrow" she whispered into her pillow.
Bye Keesha, I'll call ya soon" Alea said into the cell phone as she hung up. "Well it looks like I'm ready to do it. It will all be okay, everything is gonna be fine" Alea prepped herself as she walked up the path to the house. She opened the door with her key and walked in. "Well here we go" She announced to the empty house.
"Scott you look and sound awful, why don't you go home today?" Abs said to his friend. "Yeah that's all I need to be totally alone" he whispered as he left.
"Well I did it. I guess that's it" Alea said as she picked up the suitcase and walked out of the bedroom. She could feel a shadow hovering over her. She looked up, only to be stareing right into the beautiful blue eyes of Scott. She placed her suitcase down, and looked him straight in the eye. "I guess your moving back with the girls?" Scott asked. "Actually, no. I'm going back home." Alea said very calmly. "Alea, come one we can work this out. I'm just confused and...." "Shhh" she placed a finger on his lips. They then went into an uncomfortable moment of silence. Scott knew he had to say something "Why?" he asked his eyes begining to water. "I can't answer that question.... cause I don't know exactly. I just know this is the right thing to do right now" Alea whispered as tears were now begining to form in her eyes. "At least we'll have a story to tell our grandkids" she smiled, a nice beautiful shy smile, one Scott knew he'd probably never see again, yet he had to smile, he actually stiffled a laugh. "I'm gonna keep in touch with the girls, so when I visit I'll look you up" "Yeah I'd like that a lot" "Who knows Scott, maybe one day our lives will cross again. Maybe it will be our grandkids we tell" "Who knows" he answered, while on the inside he screamed 'of course it will be our grandkids'. Tears now began to flow freely of their faces as they hugged each other one last time. She picked up her suitcase and walked out the door. Scott knew in his mind she wouldn't keep in touch, but in his heart he was praying to god that she would.
