How many of you try and take pictures of yourselves? How many shots do you take before you say - 'Yeah - that one's good'? With the convenience of the digital camera, people can take as many self-portraits as they want until the right picture is taken and satisfaction is gained. However, rarely do the pictures, that precede the one that's deemed to be good, ever get shown. The last time around it took me 5 attempts before I decided on the (6th) one to be good - Yasmeen getting tired of having flashes going off in her face also played a factor.

How many Manoj Mathew's do you think are out there? More than a few if I had to guess. I managed to snag the original manojmathew hotmail address 8 years ago - no number or comment after the name, simply manojmathew@hotmail.com. (If you decide to send junk mail to this address, I could care less as I set it up for work purposes and whenever I sign up for online services). Anyways, it amazes me at how many people guess at e-mail addresses rather than confirming them. Over the years I have (and continue to) receive e-cards from people who - miss me, are wishing me a happy everything and occasionally send invitaions to their kids birthday parties in Dallas. I've even recieved business related e-mails asking me to follow up on I.T. projects in India and the Middle East. The kicker is that I have no idea who any of these people are. Early on I would reply back to let them know they had the wrong person and that they should confirm the address with the person they were trying to contact. Now ... I just don't bother. The best is when one particular person wouldn't believe me when I said that I was not the Manoj Mathew that they were looking for - it took 3 e-mails back and forth and a reference to this web site to convince them that they had the wrong person. So ... more useless information. Maybe I'll write about all those forwarded e-mails that people are oh so convinced are real - 'send this to 7 people and you'll get a million dollars'. ..... maybe another time.

Well, as I said last time - I've saved all the March pictures for one post. So here they are .

later,
Manoj
