Snow, snow and more snow! We've had more snow in the last few weeks than we've had all winter. It's especially ironic considering Monday was the first day of Spring - oh well, life in the Great White North sure keeps us on our toes.

It's official: I'm in full Superman waiting mode. A number of months back I posted a link to the trailer of the new movie - which by the way is only 3 months away! Since then I've started reading the comics again and following up on some of the other Superman related things that are coming up this year - among others, the release of Richard Donner's cut of Superman II which should be good considering it has footage that was cut out, including additional scenes with Marlon Brando as Jor-El.

I haven't posted any pictures this time around. I figure I'll wait till next week and post stuff from all of March.

I'm not the greatest photographer in the world, especially when it comes to taking pictures in the dark, however when I looked out my window one evening about a month ago, I just had to try and get a shot of this. Not to stir up any trouble, but to point out that sometimes our great officers should try a little harder to be better examples. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, see if you can identify the 2 foot yellow hydrant this officer decided to park next to. Why on earth he would decide to park right there is beyond me - considering that there were no cars for quite a stretch on that street. However I do know that if anyone else were to park within the 10 foot range (I think it's 10 feet) .... well you know how it works. I know it's not a huge deal, however as I said, I just had to get a shot.

Now on to more productive topics. After almost 2 years, we have finally decided on a home church. In fact it's right here in the neighborhood that we live in. Terwillegar Community Church is a relatively new church - only 3 years. So new that we are renting out space at a local Chinese Anglican church and therefore have our services Sunday afternoons - good for sleeping in! It's very focused on the local community and at the end of the day; it made perfect sense to serve in a church that is focused on where we live.

Last month I had the fortune of being sent to the Banff Springs for a 2 day work related conference. When Jen heard, she was quick to make plans to have the girls stay with my parents for the time I was gone. No way was she passing up a chance to stay at the Banff Springs when it was on Enbridge's tab. Anyways, we spent 2 evenings walking around the 118 year old hotel. Impressive doesn't begin to describe this place. Let's just say, they don't make 'em like they used to. Anyways, you'll find a number of pictures from that trip. I've also posted some more pictures that Mya took on her little camera. I might have to buy her that digital camera sooner than later - Not only does the picture quality suck but I've forgotten the amount of time it takes to scan these prints.

Last note: As I've mentioned before, I'm going to start saving these posts - something I should have been doing 8 years ago. I regret not having done that so I've made a point to try and keep this stuff archived one way or another. For now I've just added links below until I come up with a different method.

Manoj
