Sorry to anyone who's been looking for regular updates about Jemaine and his comings and goings... this time of year is incredibly hectic, as anyone who has tried to walk down Lambton Quay at lunchtime on a weekday recently probably knows! So, onto business. Two new fans added to the fanlist, who are not from the US... different after our spate of Americans.
The next large amount of information is all thanks to Andy Calder, who is incredibly helpful keeping his pulse on the New Zealand film industry, and handing out tasty tidbits of information about Jemaine. We now know for certain that Jemaine's character in EAGLE VS SHARK is called Jarrod, thanks to the press release that Andy sent.
If anyone would also like to check out headstrong.co.nz you can find that Jemaine and Taika are planning to team up again to produce 'What We Do In The Shadows' (oh I'd love to know what they do...).
Lastly, we have some new Tongan Ninja information for all you fans who love it... I know some of you are so desperate to watch it you've bought a new DVD player. Now that's dedication! The French company that is releasing Tongan Ninja over there has a website, tn-lefilm.com, with some interesting clips, sounds and information. In Jem's bio, it seems to say that he is the director of the ballet it Wainuiomata, and studied French Literature or something like it at Vic... anyone who can help say whether this is true or just interesting humour that doesn't quite filter through when you're trying to translate from French, I'd love to hear from you!
In the meantime, everyone can drool or whatever over this wonderful picture of Jem from a Tongan Ninja promo.
26th November '05 Jared/Bob wants revenge!
Well I certainly would if people weren't sure what my name is... if anyone in NZ caught TV One news this Friday night they may have seen a clip about Taika Waititi's new feature film... starring of course our perfect Jemaine. You can read the article and see the clip here, although the article tells you the movie stars Lilly and Bob, while the clip tells us Jemaine plays Jared. Strange. Thanks to Andy, member #91, for the info!
Plus, as usual, some more members have been added to the fanlist.
20th November '05 5 Weeks 'til Christmas...
... and it's a flurry of excitement here at Saint Clement's! Well, not really. We did have a Jem report this Saturday, Jem was sighted at the Opera House in Wellington for the Phoenix Foundation, let's hope a good time was had by all!
Also, there have been about ten new members added to the fanlist, making the whole of the second time still entirely from the USA/America/US (ahhh you are so inconsistent...).
27th October '05 Don't stop me now! ('cos I'm having a good time)
We now have over 120 members on the fanlist! It's amazing... sorry it's taken a while for people to get added though, I kind of tend to add people in chunks when enough build up at the moment. I'm blaming it on exams. Ah well, summer is approaching here and that always means Jem season!
16th October '05 Oho! Things get even more thrilling...
Ah... silly Jem for being so popular. Fans are getting added to the fanlist almost daily now, the growth rate is amazing (I'm sure if we drew a graph it'd be exponential!). But for those of us in Wellington, there's a treat in store. Jemaine left us a little (well ok Jess because she got right on it with the whingeing..) note in the guestbook!
Name: Jemaine
Homepage: http://www.conchords.co.nz
City: welli
Sent: Sat October 15 2005 18:02
Hi Jess, Yes it's me. Jemaine Clement, member no. 100 of the Jemaine Clement fan club. You're right, we haven't done many gigs in Wellington for a while. However, me and Bret are looking for a venue to do a show in the next few months. We heard there might be cookies in it for us.
11th October '05 Ch-ch-ch-changes!
You may have noticed there have been a few *minor* changes to the site. What I mean by minor, of course, is a complete change of visuals. Sorry if the font size is hard to read, but it's prettier. And I was bored. Same content, and most pages probably wont have font changed or anything.. meh I'm lazy too.
On another note, yet more members have been added to the fanlist (which now has a second page, ooh aren't we all swanky now). Oh, and thanks to 'the real Jemaine Clement', you are so totally not cool you don't even get added to this list. Which is of course a cool person list by another name. Hah.
8th October '05 Having... hernia... now....
It seems that we now have 100 members on our fanlist! And have a look at member #100... the illustrious Mr. Clement himself.. I swear that's a total coincidence and I'm freaking out about how awesome that is right now.
Also, check out the official Flight of the Conchords website conchords.co.nz! A statement on it says:
"Flight of the Conchords have put up a website on the internet. A spokesman from the band (Bret) said it there was a five year delay launching the website online due to a 'disagreement'. Apparently there was debate over how many times letter 'W' should appear in the 'WWW' part of the web address. While Bret wanted four making the domain name wwww.conchords.co.nz Jemaine was vying for seven with wwwwwww.conchords.co.nz. It turns out that you're only allowed three anyway"
6th October '05 Almost 100!
Never thought we'd get this far.. but we now have 97 members on the fanlist! Thanks to all those US people signing up.. great to know that Jem's making a dent in that big chunk of the world.
In other news, Jem is back in Welly (for the moment) looking incredibly brown (argh northern summer... ours is still months away..). If you've seen him around town send in reports!
19th September '05 Something's going on in that ol' US of A...
Well, there has to be, with so many new members joining the fanlist! We're up to 75 members now, what a jump!
6th September '05 Film vs Radio Show!
Lots of Jem news lately, sadly I am a slacker and haven't really been catching up with it all. Luckily for you, Sherry over at whatthefolk.net is on her toes and has everything you need to know about the Conchords radio show which is on BBC2 at the moment... plus a few mp3's for you to listen to! Also check out the website for info about the series.
In non-conchords news, Jem will be starring in a movie by Taika Waititi (aka Taika Cohen, half of the Humourbeasts) which begins shooting in November this year in Wellington. Read the entire story here (It's great that they have articles online, I had only got so far as to grab the paper out of the recycling this morning and wasn't quite around to cutting it out yet).
Also, another member added onto the fanlist. Whew, it's been a busy day!
27th July '05 56 and counting...
So yeah, two more members. Quite close to each other, just by a day, so rather odd. Maybe there was something on tv or publicity about FotC? But our two new members come from rather different areas of the world. Ah well, I'll leave it to you to come up with the crack conspiracy theories.
2nd June '05 Almost at 55!
Ok, so really nothing exciting has happened, although we only need one more member for the fanlist to reach 55 members!
29th April '05 Voice-over, yes or no?
Up by two members in one day, wow this is a special moment! Go check out the speedily growing fanlist.
In other news, it sounds like Jem's doing the voice-over for the latest L&P ad. Or so my sources tell me. I've seen it once and it reminded me of him (read: probably was him and I'm blonde), so send in your opinions!
25th April '05 Working towards one hundred!
Ok, so not really, but we just got member #51 on the fanlist!
16th March '05 Woah baby...
We've reached 50 members on the fanlist! Obviously someone decided to be kind and join after I posted that we were nearly there... it was only a week ago as well! Let us all rejoice at the growing ranks of JemFans!
9th March '05 Almost there!
One new fan added to the fanlist, which takes us to 49, one more and we'll be at 50!
8th February '05 Not much action here...
You know that whole Christmas/New Year news void? Well it's hit us hard too... no fan action recently!
16/12/04 This is a rakau, or stick!
Saw Untold Tales last night, all I have to say is it was awesome! I mean, half naked men running around on stage, what more could you ask for? Check out the program thingy from the show here, scanned in by the lovely Jo.
Also updated is the gallery with the program and a picture from it, and the reports page with a Jem Sighting!
14/12/04 Spreading the joy in the media...
There was an article about The Untold Tales of Maui in The Wellingtonian last week... which I have typed out for you here (hopefully that's not illegal... I don't have a scanner!) so have fun reading that... and hopefully you've managed to get tickets to the show!
19/11/04 Christmas comes early!
Yes, that's it, what you've been waiting for all year! The Humourbeasts will be performing The Untold Tales of Maui at Bats Theatre from Tuesday 30 Nov until Saturday 11 December (no shows Sunday or Monday though). Click here to get more details straight from the horse's mouth!
08/11/04 Been burning any men lately...?
As in a guy on a bonfire at Guy Fawkes? Yeah, not likely, us fire-conscious kiwis. But, in other news, there's a new report over at the reports page, so thanks loads to Alex for sending that in, totally awesome!
31/10/04 Happy Halloween!
Isn't it scary that we're almost at 50 on the fanlist? No? Well, yeah, probably not, but since it's Halloween I thought it should be.
23/10/04 *Snerk*
Ok, so we've got a new member or two on the fanlist, we're small, but we're daily growing!
In other not-so-significant news (but that doesn't mean you can't keep on reading), does anyone think there's a guy that looks like Jem in the new fly buys ad? It probably isn't, but if anyone thinks the guy also looks like Jem.. email me!
Oh, and the guestbook's been migrated to a new system. Different address, but you can still get to it from the link on your left. The only people who use it seem to be people advertising their websites and other *unsavoury* folk anyway though...
12/10/04 Awesome, oh wow...
Front page news!
Jem and Bret have been signed by NBC to make a comedy tv series... read all about it here! Sadly, this probably means less Jem-time down here in NZ, but then again, we get a tv series of Jem... ahh.
1/09/04 No fan action!
It's been a while since new fans joined, a shame since Jem was in the Frodo is great... who is that? documentary at the Wellington Film Festival a couple of weeks ago... I was sure somebody would say 'who is that smouldering guy who's such great friends with Bret? Let's go join his fanlist!' But, sadly, the magnetic pull of Jem onscreen is a lot less than anticipated. Maybe you have to see him live...
28/04/04 Quick, hurry, it's an emergency...
Apparently, we are missing out on some Jem movie action, and you too can have a part in bringing it to the big screen!
Jemaine has a small cameo in a NZ mockumentary comedy called Futile Attraction, about a film crew making a Reality TV Show about a couple brought together by a dating agency. However, the couple is so incompatible that the crew has to manipulate the relationship to get the footage they need.
The movie was shot in 2002 but, VERY unfortunately, ran out of money, so visit www.makemarksmovie.com to get pictures, a script, and information about you can help get this finished off (plus, maybe ecen get your name in the credits!).
Thanks to Mark Prebble for all the info, hope it gets finished :D
26/04/04 Emails galore!
Thanks to the super-wonderful Eleanor Bishop, who mailed me her review of The Untold Tales of Maui, and which you can now read here! And, for future reference, it is located under the links section for easy finding.
Jemaine (or Bret), if you're bothering to read this, I've got mail for you... e-mail. Not creepy or anything, just people suppose I know how to get in touch with you. So, just send me a sign or something, like a bird pooping on my head (preferably someone else's though), so I know what to do.
24/03/04 Half naked man lying on rock...
Well that's one reason to go see 'The Untold Tales of Maui'. And another, it's damn funny! If you missed it when it was in the Arts Festival, then never fear, for it is coming to Circa later this year, or so we hear. Also, grab a copy of last week's Salient magazine (look in student rubbish bins, or around the floor of their flats... wherever) for a review of the Humourbeasts by the wonderful Eleanor Bishop! I would type it up and put it on here but I'm not sure about that whole copyright thing and whathaveyou (and also I'm just really lazy).
Anyway, for those of you waiting for Arezoo's fic 'Jemaine Meets Harry Potter', chapters 4, 5 and 6 are up now! Go check them out in the JemFic!
We now have 41 members on the fanlist! Very cool people, very cool...
6/12/03 Minions, among other things!
Hands up who saw the Humourbeasts on flipside this week! Ah well, never fear, you can check them out in the NZ festival early next year, tickets avaliable at Ticketek here (yay I spelt Ticketek right for the first time ever!).
In other news, uh, Jem has a really big head in real life. And no, that's not in the metaphorical sense, his head just a lot bigger than it would look in photos. Not really surprising as he is a massively tall guy at 6ft 2 (which photos also do not show).
12/11/03 We will not do P, we will not do E, we will not do P.E...
Look who's here! It's the Humourbeasts! Performing 'Untold Tales of Maui' at Silo theatre, 4th-13th December! Click here for details.
Along with that link goes a very nice new picture (mmm... shirtless Jem...), so check out the gallery to see that one.
Flight of the Conchords are performing in the New Zealand Arts Festival! In the 'Best of the Fest' comedy gala/showcase-y thing for 2 nights only at the Opera House in Wellington! Click here for details.
6/11/03 We're already folked up we're high on folk!
Well, over there at whatthefolk.net the mystery of Bret and Jem on UK tv has been solved... follow the link to find a link to the Less Van UK site and cool F o the C wallpaper and such...
Also, thanks to photos on the Less Van site, we have a new picture in the gallery!
Also, a new JemFan added to the fanlist. Go 37 Jemaniacs!
29/10/03 You're a tasty piece of pastry...
Yes, FotC are playing at Bats at 10pm on Saturday 1st Nov! Tickets are $15, only at the door. It's for charity... or something like that... a good cause anyway... visit theonering.net for the whole story.
Flight of the Conchords were on the radio on Monday! It was quite good, although a lot shorter than their actual show at Downstage. A lot of banter cut out, and also a couple of songs I think...
24/10/03 S'il vous plat!
Update on the radio thing: The Listener tells me (well it tells Jess who tells me because I am doo stupid to think of looking in the listener for radio listings...) that FotC will be on National Radio this Monday 27th October, from 10.05am to 11.05am. So get those radios all warmed up for a whole lot of fun!
20/10/03 I'm the pretty prince of parties...
So - lots to report in F o the C land and then not really much at all. For all those of you in New Zealand who didn't get to make it to the Downstage show, whatthefolk.net links to an article that says Radio New Zealand has recorded one night (Thursday night we think... they said RNZ was recording it but we weren't too sure to believe them) and will play it this weekend (Labour Weekend). No times are posted yet but we'll keep our eyes peeled! Visit the Radio NZ website to see if you can listen to it!
05/10/03 Something like a folknomenon!
Just went to see FotC at Downstage, very cool show. There will be a JemReport or two coming up soon as we went 2 days, Thursday and Saturday (tonight, well last night as it is 1am) If you went on Saturday night, and got asked by a strange person if they could take your table letter, that was us. Sorry to people at table J, E and M, we were the odd people from table A who came for your letters... don't ask.
Plus,Nicko sends along word that there are some photos of F o the C here, from the Edinburgh Fringe. They're pretty cool, go have a look!
01/09/03 Fanfic, karaoke and photos...
What more could a JemFan want? Well, to be going to see FotC when they come to Welly in Sept... but got that too so I guess we're sorted! If you want to book tickets, go to downstage.co.nz and book them!
Anyway, Arezoo's JemFic including Harry Potter has been updated - chapter 2 now up! Go check it out here now.
If you love Elemeno P, then you'll love our latest JemKaraoke. And, if you can manage to sing 'edinburgh edinburgh' to the same tune as 'verona verona' then we'll be very proud of you.
Whatthefolk.net has loads of new pics and news about FotC... but hopefully if you're coming here for news you're going there too... but just a reminder.
a JemReport was left in the guestbook... and has since been added to the JemReports page. Go take a peek!
19/08/03 Tongan Ninja News!
Hmm... nice alliteration there. Oh dear, too much English, it's time to panic. Anyway, Wingnut writes: "Tongan Ninja is available to rent on video over here in the UK now...blockbuster.co.uk and enter in the search the title and search all and it should come up for you."
So for all you UK-ers, rent Tongan Ninja, your lives depend on it!
There is also a small picture of the cover of Tongan Ninja up in the gallery, so you should check that out too, to know what you're looking for. Thanks to Wingnut for all the info on this!
13/08/03 The Hiphopopotamus Meets the Rhymenoceros...
Check out an artcile/interview from The Guardian with/about Fotc here, and find out some... interesting things. Jem giggles (oh yes, we all knew he was the giggly type!) and they also say FotC are 'this year's most unlikely hit' *indignant* How could they NOT rock!?
Anyway, the article has a rather strange picture accompanying it... if you ever wanted to see Bret pretending he's that scary little girl in 'The Ring', then go look in the gallery now. Jem also does'nt lok too comfortable against that reflecting wall.
Thanks to whatthefolk.net for the link to the article :D
11/08/03 Someone's obviously not getting any!
Or they just have too much time on their hands. Arezoo sure has been busy! Therre are many, many new poems in the poems section, so take a look at those (including the exact time they were written, and during which mock exam!).
As well as that, there are 2 new JemFics added to the JemFic page, which are a pretty good read if you're busy waiting for Jem to get back to Welly (or New Zealand...) or even for HP fanfic updates.
10/08/03 A few of my favourite things...
To show I really have too much time on my hands, there is another picture in the JemEdits section. I apologise a lot to Jem and Bret for the latest picture... but mixing rocky horror and Jem - what could be better!
Also, there are a couple more links in the section, although they were on the news yesterday, just letting you know that they're there as well...
09/08/03 News, birthdays and Hook!
News: lots. Birthdays: 2 very big Jemfans have their birthday, guess which two (not too hard to guess really... they're the 2 biggest Jemfans). Hook: well, that's really another story.
A rather short message was left in our guestbook early this morning. Seems it might actually be from the real Jem. Either that or we're obviously just very naive to internet fraud... Go check it out in the reports section.
A new picture added to the gallery, promo picture from a short film that Jem (is the only one that) stars in. The film is called Fizz, and check out the rest of the info we've found on it here.
More added to the JemEdits page. 2 new pictures, plus 1 fanart picture that goes in a new category in there (fanart... *duh*).
Some of you also may have noticed the little 'the fan listings' button over there >>> Well, we are *almost* THE Jemaine Clement fanlisting at thefanlistings.org. Just a little more officialness for us!
30/7/03 So much news, so little time...
Well let's see... there's a new report in the JemReports section... written in our guestbook by someone having seen them at the Christchurch Arts Festival - oh my I am jealous!
Stuff.co.nz has two stories about FotC, the first one is here, mainly about what the boys are doing in the not too distant future, and also here, talking about FotC in general. Both links for these were from whatthefolk.net.
Dave Likes Art won an award! Silver award at the AXIS awards... in cinema. The website is very confusing... but isn't that great news? I can't figure out if it won anything else, so go check the website yourself!
New pictures in the gallery! Aww, Jem just looks so pretty with all that pink around him...:D
17/07/03 *woo* Go Jem, Go Jem!
Dave Likes Art, the short animated film that Jem himself wrote last year, has been nominated for 4 AXIS awards! Yes, that's right, Dave Likes Art is a finalist for for Best Script (copywriting), Best Animation, Best Cinema Campaign and Best Director. Click here to go to the CAANZ website with the finalists. Clemenger BBDO is the nominee for the awards but Jem will receive (at least some of) the awards on the night (when they win them, as they will!).
15/07/03 Somebody's been busy in the Photoshop...
Yes, that's right, some people got a little bored during all this free time and decided to combine Jem with everything else in their folders. There's JemDraco, JemHagrid, JemHurley and even JemEwan. Go to the JemEdits page under the Goodies section and you're away!
More buttons have been added to the buttons and stickers page. New photos of Jem (and inspiration) are hard to come by, so you've got to make the most of them! One button is even animated!
14/07/03 Get those fingers a'typin!
For JemFic is now here! Yes, we have the largest archive of Jemaine Clement Fanfiction on the net, available to YOU! Just go to the goodies section and click on JemFic, then read away to your heart's content!
*update* Some more JemFic has been added, detailing the events of Jem's Party Mix-Up. It involves fishnets, poetry and Absinthe, so get reading!
New JemKaraoke! Sing along to 'Fan Girl Love Medley' or the weird and wacky 'Guitars are a Jem's Best Friend'.
1/06/03 Le grand poulet...
Sorry about the lack of updates, but things have been going rather slowly in the JemWorld of late.
A few new JemFans added to the fanlist! That brings the total up to 33!
New report added to the reports page. A good friend of Jem (supposedly) has revealed all in our guestbook, and now you can find both messages in an easy-to-read report. Also included: the truth about Figwit.
10/05/03 Visuals are here!
Well, they were actually at whatthefolk.net a couple of days ago... but schoolwork had to come first. Well, enough with the dicking around, you'll find a .wmv file of the FotC performance at the laugh gala here, along with the sound file... now you really have no excuse not to know all the words!
5/05/03 Now you can sing along...
Whatthefolk.net now has a file of the FotC performance at the laugh gala to download! It's just the sound, not the pictures, but now you too can sing along and start learning 'the humans are dead' off by heart. So what are you waiting for? - get into it!
2/05/03 Possible Jem sighting!
Not really confirmed... or even very decent, but Jem may or may not have been seen at New World Chaffers in Wellington on Wednesday night, doing his shopping (surprisingly enough!). Now I AM NOT stalking him but someone happened to see him and recognise him, due to the immense fame of FotC.
More fanlist members. Wahey!
30/04/03 Laugh Gala, pictures, and more...
Last night FotC were on the TV2 laugh gala - and were amazing! They were introduced rather strangely as the 7th most popular folk band in New Zealand, and I think they were being sold short as it is common knowledge that they are #4! They sang their song about the distant future - the year 2000. Apparently there will be/are no more stairs or yoghurt. Well, the robots have taken over the planet, 'the humans are dead, we used poisonous gases we poisoned their asses'. Plus Bret had a very entertaining binary solo. Whatthefolk.net has a few pictures from their appearance, for your viewing pleasure.
More fanlist members added! They just will keep on joining....
Theonering.net has a [very] small article about the FotC performance at the Laugh Festival. Not too much about Jem since it's mainly about Bret/Figgy, although it does sound a bit strange when they call them partners... maybe it's just that my mind has been twisted.
We also have a flame in the guestbook! I am touched that someone could actually be bothered to hate this site so much they would flame it. Well YAY for us!
25/04/03 Great News!
Flight of the Conchords managed to take out Best Newcomer Award for the BARRY awards of the Melbourne comedy festival. Yes, that's right (they totally deserve it)! Check out this page here if you'd like to know a little more about that. Also, check out a review of FotC at chortle.
A few new members added to the fanlist. Really surprising that so many people are joining...
Whatthefolk.net has some behind the scenes pictures of FotC practicing for Pulp Comedy here (We so knew that was NOT a handbag!) They'll probably be on Pulp Comedy on the 20th of May, TV2, 10pm. They're also going to be on the TV2 laugh gala thing.. tomorrow night somewhere in Auckland or Tuesday night on TV2!
17/04/03 Yet more karaoke...
Yes, more karaoke has now been added. Now you can sing 'May It Be' in JemStyle (that is, if you can actually get the tune right. maybe you could play the soundtrack while singing it just to get it right...)
1 new member added to the fanlist! I'm still amazed that people actually joined....
A new link added to the links page. Yes, it's a great site, so go visit it already!
15/04/03 More karaoke added
Yes, that's right, more JemKaraoke is up in the karaoke section, take a look and sing to your heart's delight!
Two new members added to the fanlist, now we're on 21, wahoo!
14/04/03 Tongan Ninja news!
Click here to read an article on torn about Tongan Ninja in France and New Zealand (oh yeah and it mentions Australia...). Hopefully we'll get to see it soon!
New Karaoke section added! Find the lyrics to all your favourite songs rewritten in JemStyle, print them off and sing along when you next hear them!
5/04/03 More Jem outfits
Two more JemSets added to the JemDoll wardrobe - Jem's Ghetto fun and Manly Jem. Print them off now for Saturday night thrills!
I'm busy doing a transcript of the radio interview for people who can't be bothered/just can't download it, but it's slow progress. Hopefully it'll be up here soon!
4/04/03 JemPictures galore!
Well, I finally took the time to upload all those pictures I've been squirreling away for a while. Thanks to everyone who sent some in - muahaha! The new pictures are on a second gallery page which you CAN get to from the normal gallery page in the menu.
One new JemFan! Added to the fanlist today, that makes 18 in total! Link to the radio interview with Jem also added to the sounds page.
2/04/03 Step right up, get your JemDolls here!
Well, not here, at tonganninja.com you can get your very own Jemaine action figure/paper doll. They're right down the bottom of the page - check it out now! (thanks to whatthefolk.net for the link - hours of entertainment!)
Well, not having quite enough fun with just our paper dolls...*ahem* action figures, we decided to make clothes for them. Yes, that's right! You can now print off your own clothes to dress Jem in the paper dolls section, under goodies. Jem's pyjamas are super cool, and if you want to send me any clothes you've made, just email me.
24/03/03 *shock* *horror* Loyal JemFan writes strange poem!
Yes, this just in, we have recieved a poem questioning whether Jem is gay or not. It's up in the poems section right now! The sanity of the poem writer can be questioned, and we would also like to point out that no matter whether Jem is gay or not, we here at Saint Clement's still love him!
22/03/03 The controversy is unleashed!
Well, ok, not really, but there are 2 new pictures in the gallery (so one isn't Jem, but we have an excuse, really...), and there are also 2 new members on the fanlist.
Please visit the yahoo group and join! The Mr Wiggins conundrum is going at full throttle there, and there are only 3 members! So far, 66.67% say no he doesn't, and 33.3% say he does. Look at the files section there or the gallery here for the photographic evidence, and go vote!
12/03/03 13 really isn't so unlucky (hopefully...)
Three new poems added to the poems section! Thanks to the wonderful Arezoo for spending time she could've been studying for her chemistry assessment writing poems about our lovely Jem (although some of them - we have to question how late at night she wrote them)
New member added to the fanlist! Oh yes we just love those fans!
Jem and Bret are playing at the Melbourne International Comedy festival. Click here to take a look! Thanks to Roheryn for the link!
Also, links to 'The Barrow' ad are now on the goodies page, and you can download the making of as well! The Export Gold site is too confusing, so they're over under sounds for your convenience :D
10/03/03 Goodies and more goodies!
No new additions to the fanlist, sadly enough, but we do have some more JemPics thanks to Matt Mueller! Check them out in the gallery.
Also, more buttons added, and two new things added to the goodies page! There is a new poems section with 2 new poems (if you have any poems about Jem/for Jem, please send them in!) and there is also a LOGIC PUZZLE! Oh yes, that's right! Other sites have fanfiction, but we have - a logic puzzle! Jem's Party Mix-up, help Jem and his friends find out what they did last night! Find it under the goodies section, or click here.

20/02/03 Jem Sighting in Wellington!
Jem's Jess writes- "Dear Saint Clements, I would like to report a Jem sighting! Last Sunday at around 1.00pm at the last bus stop on lambton quay, I saw him! Jemaine was marching along in the anti-war, peace protest when I spotted him and commenced jumping like a trig graph because of my excitement. Jem appeared to be wearing the same kind of outfit as he was wearing the last time I saw him, on the T.V. program The Bradley Bunch: daggy sort of clothes with some (hilarious) tinted, retro sunglasses (they could have been the same pink ones that he wore on the show but I have a feeling that jem is masking a passion for tinted retro sunglasses and could therefore have several other pairs).
Anyway, when I stopped bouncing up and down shrieking Jem!! Its Jem!! to my sister who is now totally freaked out by me, I ran along the footpath trying to follow Jem who had temporarily disappeared from my vision. When I caught sight of the prized one again, he was a little way ahead of me. Unfortunately we were separated by a mob of aggravated hippies (no offence meant) yelling out 5678 why dont we negotiate?!, so I couldnt run out to meet Jem as I otherwise would have done.
As the march moved one my sparkling Jem grew further away from me, heading towards the block of concrete called parliament. There I do not know what Jem underwent but I have reason to suspect that he walked over some grass. I caught the bus home, all the time thinking about my close encounter with Jemaine Clement.
