Welcome to the University of Gedi Arts,
Here one can learn and study to become a Gedi Knight in real life. Before I explain anything else about the site let me make this clear we are not a role-playing site! We are a real life order dedicated to cultivation of an energy field we designate by calling it "The Force". Here at the UGA we are proud to offer you, the perspective student a Solid 'Higher Educational' level of training. This is not the average "Jedi Site". We do not flaunt picture of Mythical Jedi around our borders, nor do we go by names such as Qui Gon or Obi Won. We are a real Order, dedicated to extending the knowledge offered about "The Force", We are a Satelite Training Site of the Gedi Assosiation, A Non Profit Organization.
Before I speak of the 'Higher Education', I would like to discuss the spelling of Jedi on this site. As Lucas Film Ltd. owns the term 'Jedi' we at the Gedi assosiation sought to come up with a way to explain that we are Real Life Jedi without enfirnging on the Luicas Film Copywrite. We came to the desition of changin the spelling from "Jedi" to "Gedi", this solving our legal Problems.
Now going on to explain further what is meant by 'Higher Education' I would have to briefly explain our ways of education. Through time and Observation we have seen a lacking in many online training courses. Some lack depth, others follow blindly to the movie quotes leaving not enough Philosophy for anyone to live by. Others lack substance in "Force" training, relying only on the training provided by books and movies. Some are great in the above but lack any rigid Jedi Formation making every belief a Jedi Holds is correct.This brought one large problem, everyone became a self-proclaimed master and no one really lived 'The Way', The Way was full of contradictions. So a few people from a few sites gathered together taking the way of the Mythical S.W. Jedi and apply real life teachings to their way, researching techniques for the cultivation of the Force and planning a way to teach properly. This we do in a college format with courses offered and assignments due. There is more information elsewhere on the exact teaching methods. I hope you will stay to Learn of the Force.
