Greetings,
This is the University of Gedi Arts Mission Statement. This statement is to inform you on what we are hoping to achieve here and why. When George Lucas came out with his wonderful epic sage 'Star Wars', many a young man and women were inspired. For reasons unknown to them they began a quest, that lasted many years for some, and only a short time for others. Many of those who began their quest dropped out for lack of information. Other�s searched and searched and searched, never knowing quite what they were looking for but always knowing they hadn�t found it. Then some wonderful people got together and started the first of the online Jedi sites.... Force Academy and Jedi Academy. These sites answered the call inside all these children of the force, it suplied then with knowledge of the Jedi way, taken from analyzed movies scenes and books, and knowledge of the force, taken from study of energy practices from all over the world. All over the world people with computer access now had a key to better understanding and hope for a new way a life. These people now had the ability to become GEDI.
Years latter, and many students latter, places like Fa, Ja, and many other sites were coming to a crossroads. Training. All over the net the online sites seem to lack one specific thing. A solid training program. Sites are so large or small that people spend more time with contradictory paths trying totrain side by side, then devoting themselves to s truly solid Teaching Program. And so, after many years at many different sites, two lone Gedi step away from the crowd and seek to help the Gedi. This they will do, like others have tried, by creating a new site. However this site will differ. This site will be like a University in Real Life. This site is nothing but training and knowledge. A site of higher education, a site bound only by the Light Gedi path. This site through diligence and hard work was created, and now it is called, The University of Gedi Arts.How did we accomplish this? We would point you to our motto "we never said it would be easy, we only said it would be worth it", and so it shall. For some time now the Site Creators scoured the Net reviewing posts, and reading lectures, of all Jedi regardless of site affiliation. Through many emails and many more chat session�s we have come to created a teaching staff of those we feel are strong in knowledge of the Gedi Way and strong in their specified knowledge of the Force. And so the sitesconstruction draws to an end, as much of it is complete. Our goals almost met we relax into our chairs and wait for you the students to come and learn. We cannot offer you an easy 2-month course that awards you a peaty title. We cannot grant you a title based on half completed exercises and a solid list of posts. What we can do is guarantee you a complete and working knowledge of the Force, and the Gedi path, by the time you graduate from the University.
After successful completion of the entire UGA. Students will have the option to be added to the Affiliates section of the Gedi Association and become active Gedi Knights. In future events, Gedi will be able to either live on site of the upcoming Gedi Temple, or they will be able to stay in their hometown and be contacted for any missions arising in their area.
