Greetings,
So you are interested in teaching for the University of Gedi Arts? GREAT! We need all the teachers we can get. For some time now we of UGA have seen a problem with the level of instruction that the Other Sites of the Internet seem to offer. In hopes of rectifying this we have created this site. The wonderful thing about this site is that ANYONE can teach. Now before you get confused or think this site is bad because of that last statement let me explain.
There are many sites out there that have people holding a rank that previously demonstrated a high level of excellence in many skilled areas, these online Knights however for the most part lack a large portion of training in areas such as Mediation, Meditation, Conflict resolution, martial arts, and more. Yet at every site I have been to I have seen at least one person at that site who has the knowledge that the other lacks. Maybe the newest student to the site came after completing a psychology course of emotional control, does that mean his teachings on that subject are wrong because he's not a knight? NO!
So here at the University, teachers come from all walks of life, all levels of training, all though many teachers are already knights, many of them are not. But the teachers have been chosen due to their experience in certain topics they will be teaching for us. So do you feel you have the knowledge?
If so GREAT! Like I said we could use the help. Here is how it works:
On the main page there is a link for contacting the council, click on that and send in your proposal for a course to teach. Also, fill out as detailed as possible the registration form and get that in as well. The Proposal form for the courses should be sent to the council contact address using the following format:
Title of Proposed Course: (what you wish to name it)
Summary of Content: (a lecture, minimum two pages long, up to 10 pages long detailing or summarizing the content and perspective you hold and wish to teach about, a shortened version will be placed on the courses page if your request for teaching is excepted)
Estimated time of Course: (average course runs between 5 weeks and 13 weeks)
Testing: (estimated amount of tests you plan on giving and their degree of intent IE 1 review after each lesson, after 4 lessons have a Section Review, after approx 2 section review ,final exam, etc. Review are only for evaluating students, section review count towards grade, final exam adds to overall GPA)
