ABOUT ME

HELLO my name is Jeannette, and I am 20 years old, and I recently finished my first year of college at Briercrest Bible College in Saskatchewan. I'm working on my BA and Masters in Psychology to hopefully start up my own practice in the Counselling field some day. So far my schooling is on hold because I just got married (!) and we need to save our money. I live in Seattle, Washington (USA), but I'm still a Canadian - Go Canucks Go!
Here's some more information about me if you want to know...

Some of my hobbies include: reading, writing, mountain biking, rollerblading, walking and running, hanging out with friends. Also, I've gotten into cooking and baking.

Since college, I have undergone some changes. In the area of music, I have stopped listening to mainstream music and changed to Christian rock, like the Newsboys, Hokus Pick, Supertones, Jars of Clay, the W's and a whole slew of others. I still like the secular music like Foo Fighters, Matchbox 20, and U2, but I prefer to listen to my fav. Christian artists. They sound the same as your everyday music, just better words and different views; they have God as the center of their life, like me.

Some of the things that the senses besides my ears like are: dogs (not cats!), kids, a good laugh, a long sleep, a good meal - that would have to be either my dad's chicken (or ribs) or my own Spagetti with Meatballs, with a chocolate fondu for desert - a pretty painting, no homework, a long weekend, snow, mushrooms - j/k, they're yucky - a rainbow, a surprise, a walk in the rain without an umbrella, Camp Qwanoes, California, Vancouver, a good movie....and many more.

As you can guess, I live with Dan right now; he wants to get a cat to join us, but our apartment won't allow for it (darn...). Soon I will be able to go back and visit my family in Canada (I'm not sure yet when though). I really miss them all: my Mum, step-dad Mike, Anna (sister), my Dad, and our dogs, Aladdin and Jasmine. But, it is good for Dan and I to start out on our own, it makes us more independant. His family lives far away also, Northern California.
