FRIENDS

Mieke is my bestest friend in the world and I don't know what I would do without her. She has been there for me in everything and I love her to bits!! (no, I'm not gay, it's a best friend bondy-thingy just for those of you people that had funny thoughts when you read that comment) I'm so glad about the new commitment that Mieke has made for her life now too. I'm looking forward to seeing her in heaven after my short time here on earth.
Anna is my sister and partner in crime. She is also my best friend and I love her too. I'm glad she's my sister, I wouldn't want to have anyone else as a sister!!

My other good friends out back in BC are really great, they kept in touch with me while I was away at school and are always fun to hang out with. There's the girls, Rebecca, Kristie, Amy, and Shawna (including Mieke and I, we are "The 6 Aces" - our little group from High School). Rebecca and I share a spiritual bond that will always keep us close because we know we'll see each other in eternity. Her, along with Kristie, Anna, one of my Aunts (Karen), and Mieke were my Bridesmaids at my wedding, with Mieke being the Maid of Honour.
Also, my friend Lisa has been there for me since High School.
I miss everyone in Vancouver so much, I will come visit as soon as I can!


While at Briercrest I made some great friends that I will not quickly forget. My roomate, Janna, from Halifax (isn't that nifty, all the way across the country) was such an encouragment to me the whole year. We had some awesome talks that went late into the night sometimes!! I sure miss her, it's still weird sometimes waking up with her not on the other side of the room.
Iona was going to be my roomate this year, but now that I'm not there she is rooming with Jill again. Those two, plus Mandy, and I, all ended up hanging out a fair bit last year in our dorm and in Moosejaw when we borrowed Jill's brother's car. It was really great to hang out with you guys again at my wedding.
There's a bunch of other people from BBC that I could mention...but I just want to mention one more important person I met at college...his name is Dan.
Dan, my husband now, has been a really great encouragement to me, emotionally and spiritually. I love him with all my heart, and I know we will be together forever. God has blessed our relationship and I couldn't ask for a better man in all my life.
