Bad Poetry

On this page you will find some links to some of the bad poetry that I've written over the years. I don't normally sit down and try to create poems, they sometimes just happen when I get to thinking about different things. Part of the process in my case, at times, have been a way to put down my thoughts so that I can air them and then put them behind me. So what you'll see are some things that were my thoughts at that point in time, but which have been laid to rest by putting them to paper. This in no way means that I still feel this way today.

This first section of poems were some that I wrote during a time when I was going through a divorce. As a result, these are sort of my BLUES era and the poems are pretty dark. They were just a way to work out some of my frustrations and to lay them out in the open.

TO JANIE

THE BLUES #1

THE BLUES #2

This next little poem was a bit more light-hearted. I wrote it in a matter of a few minutes while I was on my way out the door to catch a plane for a business trip.

ODE TO A TUFTED TITMOUSE

This next poem was something I wrote late one night. I wasn't in any kind of particular mood but it just sort of started coming to me so I wrote it down.

LIFE IS ENJOYABLE
