Ode to a Tufted Titmouse

The birds of fall are greedy
They eat my wild bird seed
Each time I fill the feeder
In short time they come to feed

These birds are also picky
To some seeds they show disdain
They throw them out and on the ground
It gives me such a pain

For if I were being freely fed
By one who had taken a liking to me
I'd show more appreciation
For the seeds I got for free

P.S. We're almost out of seed
