CAREER PROFILE

 

HKS WEST Currently I work as an applications engineer at Hibbitt, Karlsson & Sorensen, Inc. at its branch office in California. HKS is the company that develops ABAQUS, the world's best finite element analysis software. Today the company counts with over twenty offices that represent it all over the world.

GRADUATE STUDIES - TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY The work done towards the completion of the Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, was mainly related to the field of mechanics of materials and structures. The graduation research project formed part of the Shape Memory Alloy Research Team - SMART at Texas A&M University, under the leadership of Dr. Dimitris C. Lagoudas.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES - UNIVERSIDAD DE COSTA RICA I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the Universidad de Costa Rica in August of 1992.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS Currently I form part of several professional organizations, some of these national and international organizations are listed below: American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). Federate College of Engineers and Architecs of Costa Rica (CFIA).
